id put this in the japanese forum but i didnt include tons of japanese cards and id get more help with the deck here so yeah if it has a * next to it it isnt out yet and the effect is at the bottom, i dont really want DDVD either...

some maybe changes
-2 windstorm (to the side deck instead of dragged downs)

Lighten the Load seems like it could help quite a lot. I just don't know what would be appropriate to remove for it.

Deck looks nice.

ah yes i was considering using that, thanks for the help, i may lose 2 thousand knives for them or 2 soul ressurection, but i dunno they both seem to work well, haha

That's one good Magician deck you have there exodia424. Just like JohnD said, Lighten the Load should resolve the burden of DMs and SoDMs stuck in your hand.

As for Tribute Doll, I would leave it out. Try using Enemy Controller (so it takes care of your opponent's field and you have tribute bait)

hmm any suggestions as to what to take out, im trying to make it not cookie cutter so i dont think ill put in controller, maybe though

Default Some Suggestions!!

I think Peten The Dark Clown is a good option....very usefull for your Dark Magician Girl.....and it can give you time while you take out your strategy...and i see you don't have any speed card(excluding Reload)...like Morphing Jar....Card destruction....Cyber Jar.....and another good strategy is Painful Choice with reborn cards(Premature Burial and Call of The Haunted).....especially with Dark Magician, Dark Magician of Chaos...for example you could send 1 Dark Magician, 1 Dark Magician of Chaos and 1 Dark Magician Girl.....with this in you graveyard you will have more strategies when a card comes out....

I hope my suggestions be usefull for you!!

Soon i will post my Dark Magician Deck.....the difference is that i use Japanese Cards....You must be notice that SPELLCASTERS real power is in some Japanese Card (Just imagine all power your deck take if you could use DIMENSION MAGIC)..

hmm i had petens for a while but realized that costons worked a lot better most of the time, , i despise both painful choice and cyber jar so i refuse to use them, im trying not be be like everyone else and run call and premature, card destruction i may consider but morphing jar is a bit out of my reach, thanks for the help

also yeah i cant wait for dimension magic and magicians valkyria

A nice little 46 card deck. If you are going to use 2 DMG's, you need a monster to guarantee the sacrafice {Peten}.

Add MOF because, you'll need Reload, DM attack,Diffusion Wave Motion, and so on.

Add Spirit Reaper because...HE STAYS! The only thing that can whipe him away are spells or traps (e.g-Skill Drain,Change of Heart). I put Change of Heart in there because, if Reaper is targeted, he is automatically destroyed so there is no taking control of it aswell as destroying it. NOTE- Watch out for Final Attack Orders, that could cost you the game unless you offer it fast.

Tribe is for destroying what 5 monsters they have on the field. This card works best against themed decks. (e.g-Light,Dark,Earth)

A Hero Emerges is for getting out your DM's and your DMOC. I'd suggest using it on DMOC. I'd pick DMOC because, it can give you back DIMENSION MAGIC, and then you can bring out DM aswell.

I'd ditch one Sorcerer of Dark Magic because, it can be troublesome sometimes. Even though it is my favorite card, I'd still recomend you keep it to a minimum of 1.(e.g-Having no monsters o the field and having 2 Sorcerer's in hand along with no spell or traps.)

I'd just like to say....ONLY USE ONE DIVINE WRATH!...really, it's not a good card for your style of dueling. I've seen how you act to other duelists online. I don't know you but, you seem pretty cool. Let me just say this, that card is just like foose-ball....IT"S THA DEVIL!

This is one of the more solid DM decks I've seen so far. However, you are missing some key staple cards like Snatch Steal, MST, Premature Burial, Call of the Haunted, and Heavy Storm. Ring of Destruction, Magical Cylinder (although Sakuretsu Armor is just as good), and Torrential Tribute are all good to add as well. Plus, I'd take out a Reload (good card for refreshing your hand if you have too many situational magics) for either a Painful Choice or a Call of the Haunted (this will help dump your DM's in the graveyard so you can use your Soul Ressurections). Plus, if you're going to use 2 Magic Jammers/Divine Wraths (I'd only have 1 of each), I'd throw in a Sinister Serpent to negate the discard costs.

The only other suggestion concerns Diffusion-Wave Motion. DWM is a good-themed DM card, but a) it should be comboed with something like Big Bang Shot, and b) its only really effective if your opponent swarms the field with something like Scapegoats or Warriors. That's why I think it should be sidedecked instead.

In all though, you have a very good deck overall. I'd give it an 8.5/10. Now if you can return the favor and r/f my DM deck (in my sig) I'd be happy. :)

well as i agree that tribe, reaper, and peten are very good cards, but im trying to extract the most pure essence of the dark magician, i dont believe in being like everyone else just to win, if i lose oh well but surprisingly it doesnt happen too often, ive always had a sense that if i am true to my deck it will pull through for me in the end, and it usually does, as for divine wrath, it is a VERY good card, id say 1 isnt enough and 3 is too many, so 2 seemed logical, i MIGHT try a hero emerges again but it doesnt always work so its iffy

edit: o yeah, about divine wraths and jammers, with soul ressurection i can just get DM back when i discard, since i almost always have one in hand, either that or it at least powers up a dark magician girl for a while, or if i have a thousand knives i cant play then i wont worry about the discard since it was dead weight, as for diffusion wave motion i think i will take it out for card destruction even though im not a fan of the card.....

Very nice, it differs from mine in quite a few ways. You have gone hardcore DM, while I have strayed a little away and mixed DM with the basic "cookie-cutter" cards.

I do have a question, though. Do diffusion wave motion cannon and lighten the load help? I thought about using them myself, but decided against it. Both seem pretty situational. Are they worth it?

Good deck. 8.5/10. It's probably better than mine as you've most likely been using it longer than I've used mine and you are experienced with it.

yes it seems to work well for me, a heart of the cards like thing if you will, call me crazy but i think it works, i believe in the deck and it works, diffusion i have grown to dislike so im playtesting without it for a while, it came in handy about 1 in 5 times i had it in my hand, lighten the load is also something im playtesting, im not a major fan of it but i think i have more tributes then you do i have 6 monsters i can use with it so it would probably work better for me than you, but i do suggest you try it out if you ever seem to have a bunch in your hand, in games you play you notice the hand is cluttered with them then try out lighten the load, if not they are probably of better use in your hand
