The strategy is pretty simple. Attach
any and all number of Equips onto Armed
Samurai - Ben Kai and slap down your
opponent for the win. Of course, you
need more strategy (and cards)
then that, so let's break it down, shall we?

FETCHERS: The deck thinners of YGO...

Reinforcement of the Army
Iron Blacksmith Kotetsu
Mystic Tomato
Sangan

That's pretty good by YGO standards. Maxed out, that's 9 ways of thinning your deck (with 3 Tomato/Iron Blacksmith and 2 Reinforcement). Fetching means deck thinning, and that's always a good thing. I know not alot of people run these cards maxed (except Reinforcement of the Army), leaning more towards 2 Tomato and Blacksmith, but even then, he's still pretty good. I think Sangan's self explanitory.

POWER: Any and all equips that include but are not limited to...

Fusion Sword Murasame Blade
United We Stand
Axe of Despair
Black Pendant
Big Bang Shot
Mage Power

Ben Kei's effect is nowhere near broken, but it is damn good. For a game that's known for it's turn 1-2 kills, Ben Kei brings just another one to the table. With all those equips, it's kinda hard to NOT get a huge chunk of LP off your opponent. Remember, all these need not apply to Ben Kei himself. If you find yourself in trouble, don't hesitate to use any number of other cards to help eliminate the threat (Mataza the Zapper comes to mind here).

SYNERGY: Nearly all the cards in the deck work together in one common goal; to get the field clear for that one huge shot. These cards include but are not limited to...

Cumpulsory Evacuation Device
Breaker the Magical Warrior
Mystical Space Typhoon
D.D. Warrior Lady
Torrential Tribute
Smashing Ground
Giant Trunade
Snatch Steal
Heavy Storm
Mind Control
Exiled Force

Basically everything that says "Get out of my F'N way!!" That's alot right there if I do say so myself. Breaker gets rid of M/T, so it's there. I didn't mention Mataza the Zapper and his synergy with Ben Kei because -- well, it's obvious, right? Mataza isn't the main priority, Ben is, but as a backup, Mataza works wonderfully. Mind Control is something I've recently tested to great effect. It's underestimated, and many have suggested Brain Control instead. Brain Control may be good, but it dosen't take face down monsters, which are the ones I hate the most. Plus, it clears the field for that one turn I really need it to be clear: when I slap down Ben and grin evilly.

SPEED: The usual...

Magical Merchant
Magician of Faith
Graceful Charity
Pot of Greed
Cyber Jar

Okay, so I realize that Magical Merchant isn't exactly "the usual", but his (it's?) effect is too good to pass up. I'd add in more to my version of the deck (found in my sig) but I just don't know what to take out. I've recently tested out Cyber Jar with great effect. When used right, getting those five cards in your hand usually spells game for your opponent.

FINISHING THE GAME: Heh...

Armed Samurai - Ben Kai
Ring of Destruction

This may not be the only way, but A Ringed Ben Kei can almost always spell game for at least ONE of you, and hopefully it's your opponent. Big Bang Shot can also spell doom if your opponent runs Scapegoat's (and they usually do), but it's just not that OFTEN as a game ender to be considered one...at least, that's what I think.

((Thank you to Kill_switch for the deck layout.))
