Daigusto Emerald
Rank 4/WIND/Rock-Type - Effect, Xyz/1800 ATK/800 DEF
2 Level 4 Monsters.
Once per turn, you can detach 1 of this card's Xyz Materials to activate one of the following effects:
• Select 3 monsters in your Graveyard and shuffle them into your Deck. Draw 1 card.
• Target 1 monster in your Graveyard, other than an Effect Monster, and Special Summon it.

Rescue Rabbit has another boytoy. Thanks to NeoArkadia of NeoArkCradle and DT13. NO FLAMES.

Wow. Now they are getting 2 effects?

If the material really is generic. Then my response is Power Creep

I like this Hero decks can use this pretty extensively with Alius and heck even Neos Proper for T9 fun.

Can't use this with HERO decks other than Vanillas because Neos is still an effect monster. This guy can only revive non-effect monsters.

Geminis are treated as normal monsters in the grave.

Anyway, the card artwork is beautiful. I want 7

What's your point? Read the card again. Carefully.

It only brings back "NON-EFFECT" monsters, not necessarily NORMAL monsters. Gemini are a sub-type of effect monsters fyi.

The same applies for White Elephant's Gift. Can't use it with Gemini's because they're still Effect Monsters on the field even though you haven't Gemini Summoned them.

Normal monsters are non effect monsters....

It's the same reason they work with white elephants gift

Oh wtf... so I was wrong, my bad. I could have sworn there was a Q&A where everyone concluded that Non-Effect =/= Normal when it came to Gemini monsters :S

That makes this card even better.

Card's fantastic. Both effects are great.
It's a great addition to replace the Pot of Avarice that got limited.

Normal monsters are a subset of Non-Effect monsters.

Non-Effect simply covers additional monsters without an effect that don't have a yellow background. Most notably, XYZ\Fusion\Synchro\Ritual monsters that don't have effect like Gem-Knight Perl, Scrap Archfiend etc

It should've had 2200 ATK or something.

Finally a Rank4 with a +1 effect. It's subpar stats balance it out nicely, as it likely wont survive to use it's effect again without protections.

One question. You can target the detached monster with it's effects right?

Wouldn't really make sense though. If something is to be treated as a Normal monster, it's a Normal monster. That's the whole point of treating something as something else.

I'ma remove a Pearl in my Gem-Knights for this. I'm not sure why it's a Gusto either, but oh well. Gem- support is always welcome.

Its probally story line related. It features effects of both gem knights and gusto. Perhaps they team up?

True, but I'll probably just be reviving Crystal, the 3 standard vanillas and Zirconia. The way I play Gems, they barely ever Xyz - no sense relying on a combo that needs me to Xyz twice. (But I said I'll remove A Pearl; I'll leave one in there)

I was too busy crying tears of joy at the non-effect monster support to care.
