Derpy Rants: Fabled Raven in DW
does anyone honestly think this should be mained in Dark World?
"But it es good discard card and make synchros no?"
You don't get any advantage unlike most GOOD discard outlets and it's not like Synchroing is necessary in Dark World.
"But it es lite and used for bls no?"
Yes it's a LIGHT for BLS but Effect Veiler is a better option and it's not like Dark World is gonna crash and burn without BLS.
"u newb you culd just liek SS beige and goldd and sillva to make grapha"
but then that'd make them dead cards (well the latter 2 anyways)
"but it es fiend and feed gate no?"
you get enough gate fodder by plussing off Broww and Snoww with DWD and maybe Dragged
"but it es make highlander and **** plants no?"
Billy Brake will just Caius that ****
discuss and try to keep any flame wars to a down low

I never liked Raven. I found myself being able to doing things effectively without it. However, I will consider it for a side decking if I find a higher amount of spell negation.

It's good.
It's not like you're always going to have your field spell to discard for you. And you know the negatives to running dealings and dragged.

It should be renamed "Dark World Raven" as it is never seen in Fabled decks.
On Topic: I have faced many people that effectively use Fabled Raven's effect for large combos. I would say 1-2 Ravens in a DW build is pretty effective.

So basically the entire thread is "I hate Fabled Raven". The ranting is even worse than the people being ranted about. And then finishes with "keep the flame wars down" after having a massive flame on anyone who thinks Raven is decent. O_o

Cannot tell if people that like Raven are serious
or just bad.

I see no downside to running 1-2.
Highlander alone validates it.

The only way Fabled Raven is bad is if you don't have any Dark worlds in hand
Does that happen often in dark worlds?

Fabled Raven is fine at 1, more than that is bad and thinking it's an absolute staple is wrong.

It is an overpriced piece of sh#%.
Hyped by OCG netdeckers because it won a tourney in a candy store or some high school...

Wyvern, Ancient Fairy to pop field cards in the mirror/Gravekeeper matchup and Highlander are enough to warrant running 2 Raven with 2-3 Beiige imo.

3 leads to it being dead. You generally only need to get its effect off if you don't have Gates. If you have Gates active, it's unneeded.

I learned the hard way that 3 is as usefull as an exodia deck without the head.
I say 0-2 depending on build and preference.

I like it for dark highlander. but it is by no means a main deck staple. i believe it to be a side deck staple, but even then 1-2 is good. It is the card that can make good use of the warlords, (along with the viruses, ps don't flame me) Overall I've had success with it.

Highlander, Moar bls food, and additional discard outlet. What's not to like?
1-2 is the way to go. 3 if you planning on using goldd/sillva as your hand will be clogged anyway ^_^

I was honestly always against it. It is terrible and the synchros never last. Using the card is against the point of playing darkworlds.
Only scrubs play the damn thing. I stand by what I say.

Where the hell is "Decent, but not mandatory?"
But I guess the second response does fit my opinion on this issue...
