The effect to gain 500 boost, is it perma?

If it does not say "until the End Phase." or some other "until" clause, then yes, it is permanent. Exception is BW Sirocco.

Also, if it is flipped face down, then back up again, the attack boost is reset.

Still should have fixed it for the TCG at least. Oh well.

I wasn't aware of that, but I never actually said it was only the TCG translation that needed an erratum.
