Default Number 11: Big Eye

Since the last thread on this was made, the effect is now clear, but still unconfirmed/"official".

Still, it looks legit given the fact that the pic looks clear in the Wiki, so I am assuming the translators did a decent job at it.

Here's the card:

http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Number_11:_Big_Eye

Stats: 2600 ATK/2000 DEF
Spellcaster, Rank 7 Xyz

2 Level 7 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; take control of the target. If you do, this card cannot attack during this turn. Effects Unconfirmed.

Pretty nice effect, though its obviously very hard to summon in regular decks. Some niches could really, REALLY, make use of it though (a la Spellcasters with their multiples of Arcanite, Gaga Magi, etc).

Thoughts?

Realistically machinas can use this card; Two fortress, detach one, take control of something revive said fortress and do some damage.
Of course it'd be better to just XYZ or synchro with it. A deck focusing on Gagaga magician will actually do quite well using this.
Not the best numbers, but pretty good.

That's the anime card, not the real life one.

There is still yet to be a clear image of the real life one online anywhere.

True true but I can't see them nerfing this too much :/ It's great but not broken and as only certain decks can use this....
Besides, the attack restriction prevents any OTKs.

This isn't the first one that was posted to wiki, it's a new one, or at least one with a better angle.

You just reposted the anime one again.

The only pic of real life 11 and 16 anywhere on the webs is this.

I think there's more to his effect. The text is way too long for an effect so simple as that. Plus, it's a Rank 7 Xyz. Its effect should be awesome. This effect is pretty good, but it doesn't spell awesome the way it should.

Detaching an xyz material =/= tribute. It's a completely free Change of Heart for a turn.
Very good but balanced that only certain decks would be able to use it and it can't move when you use the effect.

So the Brain Control effect is permanent, not just until end of the turn?

um...it has a very very Big Eye.

Gorz would be pretty broken if Xyz allowed Tokens.

Wow just like that Terror-byte is rendered worthless. It's not very hard to get out either. Gagaga makes is fairly effortless in tandem with trag and Gorz. All Machine XYZ decks( which is basically all machine decks very few need a full extra) have a reason to run the fortress engine now too. Nifty. Almost definitely an Import in Photon Shockwave.

Debris is getting better and better.

Fog King, Arcanite, Worm Victory and Regenerating Rose all are targets for him and can easily be summoned, through in limit revers and you're set.

Level 7 monsters that are easily summoned? Elemental Hero Neos seems like a viable option. Having no less than 7 ways to be special summoned from hand/graveyard means an easy time to hit the field. Likewise, Dark Magician also has a similar bag of tricks.

Are you trying to troll? I can't tell, since the pic I linked to looks exactly like it came from a mag, like with how you see text from other stuff in the same pic (other product/show adverts?).

Can someone know who knows Japanese confirm what I think to any degree?

I think it's good enough to warrant running in any deck that could support it. A brain-control-esque effect is too good not to run. Even if it can't attack, you can always Sychro/Tribute/etc with the stolen monster.

That's what it looks like for now, but it's still pending a better translation/image.

Terror-byte isn't quite useless yet, but for the decks you mentioned to really make Big-Eye matter, it would mean that more people have to run it.

Would the meta change that much where Machines and the like would be the go-to decks for netdeckers? lol, I'd love to see that.

I do know Japanese, and I'm telling you that that's a picture of the anime card you're posting. There are no pictures of the real 11 that can show you the effect.

It should be pretty close though.

Machines can Go Cyber/Gaga into Ardeus or Tiras on turn one 99% of the time as an opening play I think people will flock to it. when you can swarm and no longer fear Chimeratech on the chance you can't win that turn machines are less of a gamble to play.

Hell Vaylon and Karakuri can hit anything thanks to dupe save Thunder end
