Utopia, Levial, Tyrus, and Roach are the only ones I give a damn about.
The rest are meh to me... but, I like where things are going.

utopia is very promising.. i also like the look of Wind-Up Zenmaister

however alot of them are quite pointless atm unless they coincide with new archtypes

I am still trying to work out what happens when I Special Summon Lava Golem to my opponent's side of the field when they have XYZ's out...

Anyway, I don't really know about these things....they seem okay....they seem like a gimmick that won't take off while ever we have broken Synchros around like Trish, Brio, BRD etc...

They seem like something that I personally won't be bothered using because it's 'too much bother'...

I am just laughing at the Fiend XYZ thing that needs 2X lv5 Monsters atm...

I agree. A lot of the effects are a bit underwhelming. Most of the good Synchros either generate advantage or provide some sort of protection which justifies the resources you put into them, whereas most of these Xyz monsters don't. Not that them being like that is a bad thing, frankly most of the staple Synchros are a little overpowered, to replace them with these would be a step in the right direction. It would be rather nice to have duels that weren't over in 3 turns. It won't happen unless Synchros get the ban hammer though, which would piss a lot of people off.

Either that or they'll need to give all the Xyz typos like that Aero Shark. That card would be broke if the damage was 1000 instead of 100. lol.

Rank 5 isn't incredible hard to make; you just need the deck to focus on it... which isn't the best idea. Ardreus, Volcasaurus, and Freezerdon aren't that bad; Volcasaurus especially if his effect really a use until it runs out thing. I mean it's using Destiny End Dragoon's effect twice, still able to attack, and is 2500.

XYZ monsters are ****.

Xyz monsters, on the other hand, open the door to many shenanigans and buff the flexibility of just about every deck out there. Mind Control gets that much better, as does Book of Moon for prevention purposes. A lot of old cards get a lot better due to this mechanic, namely Batteryman AAA, Bone Crusher, and Quillbolt Hedgehog.

I think Utopia and Leviathan are really nice, especially for how easy to get they are/will be.
2500 beaters; and one that can negate two attacks without wasting itself is really nice.
They give decks that go into it an option to get over stuff like TGHL without giving your opponent the advantage, and that's what makes them shine a little, for me.

I used to think Leviath Dragon was a big pile of crap until I learned that the attack boost was permanent. Now...sort of want.

Other than that, Zenmaister and roach are the only good ones.

Beatsticks and nothing more, with the exception of Ragia who isn't splashable.
If you have the ED space, you run a couple because they *might* come in useful.

Adreus won't be coming out fast enough to make much use in Dark World. She's near useless because good Dark World builds run little or no Lv5 on up other than Grapha.

Doubt the whole 'gimmick' part. Reason being, they super easy to make, as opposed to Synchros, which need sometimes specific Tuner/non-Tuner materials.

Only their levels needs to be the same, which means most every deck can use them, and some more than others.

I like Super Star Mira. 3 extra lives and a continuous destruction immunity to all your Level 4 and lower monsters.

Machines with a Limiter Removal.

Warrior builds.

Think about what Essedari did for Gladiator Beasts.

Apply that to all decks and the metagame goes ZOOM faster than sound.
