Default Fiendish Chain vs Book of Moon

Im sorry if this has been asked. I searched for my question, but the only thing I found was with Rai-oh/Stardust Dragon.

Player B activates Scrap Dragon
Player A plays Fiendish Chain, targets Scrap Dragon.
Player B responses with Book of Moon, targets Scrap Dragon

Will Scrap Dragon still be negated or no?

Thank you for helping. Once again, I am sorry if this question has been asked.

It will not. Fiendish Chain can only target face-up monsters. by the time it resolves, its target is no longer legal
