Default Safe Zone

Safe Zone: Continuous Trap

"Activate only by selecting 1 face-up Attack Position monster. That monster cannot be targeted or destroyed by your opponent's card effects, or be destroyed by battle. It cannot attack your opponent directly. When this card is removed from the field, destroy that monster. When that monster is removed from the field, destroy this card."

What do you guys think about this card?

I have been running it in my Naturia build for a while, and this card is just damn good. I always get that feel good feeling when it is facedown. It can either protect my Bambooshoot, or destroy their monster when they use an effect to destroy my facedown Safe Zone.

I am thinking about how it can work in other decks. Perhaps a test drive in my Scraps? 2 for 1 with Scrap Dragon. It can also protect my guys if I need to do that too.

A very versatile card, that doesn't get much talk. I have been testing it a lot on the DN and it's always useful.

Everytime I use it, I have to explain to people what it does. They just go, "damn", yet it just sits in their binders. Do people even check the cards they get, or are they always only after what's popular? I was able to trade for sole so easily though, so that's cool. It just gets annoying to have to always teach about a card when I use it, it's like Scrapstorm all over again.

just read your sign so I can understand what your saying, but don't fully agree with it. If you wanna continue the discussion PM me, otherwise it's cool.

Safe zone, I swear I never use that card, everytime I set it it gets MST, I may take it out for that reason but every so often when i do use it I love it!!

If your opponent activates MST, Trunade, or Dust Tornado, you chain it and select 1 of they monsters. Stardust and Magatama cannot negate it either. You get either a +0 ~ +2 depending on the method.
+0 is you activating safe zone to one of their monsters then using scrap dragon. +2 is chaining it to brionic's effect to bounce it thinking it was Mirror Force or D. Prison.

Why would they play this over Waboku? Especially since they want the GB's to leave the field?

And the deck is far from autopilot.

They don't even run Waboku.

How would you hit trishula with it >.>

But yeah. It's a card that stops things from dying, prevents things from being in a position where they can die and kills things. all at once. It's awesome.

They activate trishula, target that, a card in my hand, and a pointless card in the grave, and I chain it. It's a +1 for me after that. It's happened quite often on DN. Nobody expects it.

Trishula doesn't target..

You have to activate this when Trishula is summoned, if you don't, once the player tells you what to remove, you can't chain/activate anything anymore.

You've just been cheating..

Well, mostly. It targets if he doesn't choose a card in hand.

No it does't..

Trishula never targets.

You choose what cards to remove when it's resolving, by that time your opponent can't activate anything anyways.

doesn't matter, the fact that Waboku can be activated as a protection card even when you have no monsters, that is gives ALL GBs a free attack, and that it's chainable and doesn't attatch the monster to a string makes it better.

This^^^^ Kills any monster, and nothing short of 7tools or Trap Stun can stop it. I guess technically Threatening Roar, but that's stretching it a little.

I'm surprised I'm not seeing Falcon control in the Vets forum more now. In theory it's amazing in there.
