I think you would change your opinion on this card if you actually had played in a format with three of then legal.

Gravity bind is broken.
Level limit on the other hand is less broken. and i'll tell you why
Gravity Bind for several turns, summon demise blow the field and do some fun otk type stuff. You can't do that with level limit.
Either way it's alot of stal and should stay at 1

sorry ... i mispelled... it should be Gravity Bind... and it sucks hard. you just need to exceed and attack. And, level 3 beaters are everywhere

Gravity Bind is trash, Level Limit - Area B is slightly less trash but slightly harder to defend save Trap Stun immunity.
Both to 3, Synchro Summon, Exceed Summon, and huge Format changes like 3 Breaker the Magical Warrior compared to when they were big cards all make them mostly irrelevant.

G-Bind and LLAB should both be tested at 2.

And how do you know that? Decks never auto-lose to almost all of the limited list.
You guys act like it's just Exceed for rank 3, as if that will always happen when you need to. That's an odd number and not everyone will run them because the LV3 Exceeds suck. Compared to Synchros they aren't worth extra deck space.
As if the Gravity Bind player won't do everything possible to make sure you won't get away with it (simple as flipping up compulsory). As if they won't leave a monster with big defense on the field. Gravity Bind is 1 card in a 6 card hand, the other 5 either protect it or prevent you from getting around it. It's locks down too much on it's own to be allowed at more than 1. |

Rank 4+ Exceeds aren't affected by Gravity Bind. They still do not have a Level.
Also, if you have no Exceed Monsters, Synchro Summon Scrap Dragon. Or Black Rose Dragon. Or Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier. Or one of many non-generic Synchro Monsters.
Gravity Bind doesn't stop you from actually achieving any plays. |
