i don't understand why this isn't tier 1

my personal insights:

this deck is built to remove your opponent's hand / field/ options
but decks these days are built for massive +s, and this version of monarch with formula synchron and Genex Undine gets you some of those +s

no to mention the tributing your opponent's monsters gets u +s in the process as well as the monarch's abilities themselves

the only problem i have is the tuning engine: genex / water
undine is uber +s but there isn't a lot of options with fishborg...

someone please suggest a plant / debis tuning engine, i'm sure plants are more flexible

because, draw all monarchs or all frogs for a bit. i love this deck, i don't run genex but i draw dead far too often for the deck to be T-1

Because any card like Archlord Kristya, if used carefully, can wipe the floor with this deck type.

With that said, I really like the FormulaNarch decks lol.

This is one of the worst formula monarch builds I've seen.

Run 3 Soul Exchange
Run 2 Undine/controller
Run 3 Swap Frog and ronin
Don't run 2 Pot of Avarice
Don't run Cyber Dragon at all
Don't run Mind Control
Don't run TTH

and get a good side deck.

Genex is good with a 2/2 ratio and allure in the main. The side needs 3 veiler and 2 crow at least, and GUB should be in the main.

This guy is right, make some of these changes lol.
The reason this deck is not tier 1, even though I think it should be, is that some decks just ruin it lol.
Like this guy at my locals runs a gemini build with king tiger, and side decks triple Mask of Restrict.
