Just a Question..
I'm wondering about the whole mew thing. If it's not ment to be in Red or Blue (blue/Green whatever) then how come it's in there? Was it an attempt to make mewtwo and failed? How did it get in that small game? And how come your not allowed to get it? (with out gameshark or nintendo contests)

I'm not sure if I understand this thread. Mew is in the original japanese games. It was obtainable upon completing the pokedex. Due to the translators' lameness, we have to attend some pointless event to legally obtain Mew(I simply used a GS). When we complete our pokedex, we get an unsatisfying "diploma" while we SHOULD be receiving a Mew. In other words, we ARE supposed to have Mew, but the translators' suck

I don't think translators is the right word.. but I can't think of the right one right now..
But Mew IS supposed to be in the games, that's why it IS there. I don't know about the Mewtwo thing, but obviously, 'they' did not fail in making Mewtwo as it is in the Unknown Dungeon. Mew is a seperate Pkmn entirely related to Mewtwo only in backstory not through game design. It got in that 'small game' because the programmers put it in there.. And you ARE allowed to get it (with GS/AR/Nintendo Contest), I think you mean not able to get it [legally] but then there's the Mew Glitch to fix that problem. ;p

I don't know, it's all stupid..
When I was playing pokemon I bought a gameshark just so I can get mew. I remember that. All the sudden every pokemon I ran into was mew, then my game got messed up. Then the game stoped working period. Then I got blue and my idiot self did the same crap over again.

If you read the instructions for the GS then you wouldn't have that problem. Maybe you didn't enter the code in correctly. I have used a GS countless times and never had a problem with it.

Even thru this was back in 7th grade, I remember. My GS messed my RED up. I entered the mew code and every pokemon I ran into was MEW, then the next day my game stoped working.
GS is known to ruin games period, so it's not like it's a rare thing.
