Default Golden Ladybug

Very dangerous and great card in the right deck, in my most recent match against my bro I was able to gain up to 9000 LP, pay half to 4500, get attacked to about 2600, gain all the way back up to 8300, pay to 4150, then gain up to 6150.

I am literally gaining 10,000's of LP in all of my duels because of a pair of these ^^, I love them.

How slow is your brother's deck?

It is only a decent choice in Final Countdown.

I am slightly offended by that remark.

My brother has an amazing CB deck which he has refined over the course of 4-5 years, it is very fast, very explosive, and ready to roll. The thing is, I summoned out huge beaters and Cyber Valley'd to gain massive amounts of LP. My point in the above is saying that if you are in control of the duel as I was earlier, then it pays to gain free LP with your opponent being unable to do anything.

Or you can run a card that, you know, helps you win the game faster.

Depends on your playstyle, I am a more conservative player myself.

I would do the Colossal ramming - Rainbow Life thing so you can gain X00,000,000,000,000,000 LP at once and then screw around with the duel, doing absolutely nothing of any relevance, while not being punished for it ^^.

It's CB's, no Traps. Also, we don't Side in casual duels amongst ourselves.

That's the part I don't get too.
As a person who plays CBs a lot, slow decks usually loose to CBs. Because you have all the time in the world to build yourself up, freely negate with ruins and then abundance for the win.

Without knowing exactly what deck the op is playing, I would say it's more likely his brother needs to fine tune his deck.

Not trying to be offensive or anything, but with this little amount of input, it's hard to pin point where things go wrong or right.

I do usually lose to my brother's deck...it was just that this time I played a bit more controlling game.

As for Golden Ladybug. It's really only good if you get it in the first few turns and accumulate LP from there. Even REALLY good stall decks are only going to get enough LP to create a buffer for maybe 2-3 attacks.

It's god for Self-Destruct Button decks when you go to End Of Match Procedures because you only need a few life points to take it, PLUS, Ladybug can act as a chump blocker.

It's good that it doesn't hurt your hand size to gain some life points, but it's like Droll & Lock Bird, Skull Meister, etc: It's effect is only meant to make an impact on the short term.

He probably didn't get Abundance off/activated Abundance on a small field and you had a good hand.

Just saying.

Because, you know, I'm a Crystal duelist.

True, he did not use Abundance, and when he finally could I had too many LP to dock. My quote was not to bash CB duelists just to say how great GL can be in the right conditions.
