Buy 3 Machina Mayhem and build Machina Gadgets.

Uh, no. God, just look at your freakin' signature!
Build something original, not the Machina Gadgets, which hardly even hit off their combos G2 and G3 since everyone sides 2-3 System Down's.
I say build yourself a nice, decent Monarch deck, not maccy style, and just settle with that.

Is Monarch not an unoriginal deck as well? He's a returning player and does not have the cards or resources yet to make creative and effective decks yet. Machina Gadgets is probably the best deck to get acquainted or reacquainted with the game. As most players know, Machina Gadgets is summon, search, summon, trap, trap, spell, ram, etc, etc. It's simple, effective, and complex at the same time.

He knows the basics of the game (I'm assuming) and I'm talking traditional Monarchs, with Treeborn Frog's (at two this format :3) and other Tribute fodder. Machina Gadgets is just too auto-play, and can send a returning player reeling backwards when he sees that he literally doesn't have to do anything other than swing, die, and repeat.
