Default Are Koa'ki meiru decks good?

Im trying to make my brother a deck for not a lot of monies, and this deck came in to mind.

A Koa'ki meiru deck.

I want him to be able to win sometimes and not get pwned the whole time.

Would a deck incorporating these koaki meiru cards be good or does anyone else have suggestions for a different kind of deck that isnt expensive.

I don't really like them since you can't have too many on the field(since their effect may/may not destroy them) If you want a decent deck, try Machina Gadgets, or think of some random deck.

KM's are anti-meta and have some potential, but the best cards are ultra-secret rare(like most archtypes) They arent very expensive to trade for, but buying might be a different story. Other in-expensive decks are burn/frognarchs.

He just wants a good deck thats fun.

Under 100, he has some of the basics like sand mans and lusters not to mention maximus and rooklords.

What does this whole meta thing mean? Someone mentioned a meta deck with like doom cals and I dont know what its called meta? metal? hmm no clue.

These KMs seem pretty tight looking at his deck list he put together.

Meta means the majority of decks being used where you play such as sabers or blackwings

a PURE Koa'ki deck will have trouble, as you may have trouble with resource management. On the other hand, you can build a type (Warrior, beast warrior whatnot) and add koa'ki monsters and have a better outcome.

I recommend Warriors (Berzack, rooklord and war arms) Rock (guardian and sandman) and also beast warriors (cursader and urknight). A nice tech would be Powerhand, as revealing a trap card makes it a rather flexible monster of this archtype.

I agree here, i faced a koa'ki rock monarch deck at locals that was actually rather good

honestly, they're not good
and the good ones are holo so it may get expensive while play testing n having to get other cards?
y not run gadgets?
they are not expensive, buy 3 machina packs, run both gearframes and fortresses, 2 sets of gadgets, 3 shrinks, the trooper, 3 Dimensional Prison, 2 Cyber Dragon, 1 Cyber Valley, its an easy and competitive build

for any questions/comments, reach me at dontworry_behappie@hotmail.com

Koa'ki's are pretty good when you focus on one type of them, (i.e. Rocks) the rock Koa'ki's are pretty good, Guardian being a controllable Doom Caliber Knight, Boulder being a searcher, Sandman and his thing with Traps, etc.

If your willing to go the step further, try Dragons, but then again you're abandoning alot of them since there's only Drago being the most usefull, and the deck isn't going to end up being Koa'ki's anymore, it'll be Disaster Dragon! xp..

But seriously, Koi'ki's can be pretty good if you know how to run 'em.
