The basic gist of the deck is to dodge, negate, destroy and deviate from the current meta's builds. I've noticed that most decks these days are running about 10 traps. Sometimes I've seen it hit 12 traps in a deck. I've also noticed alot of Hamster engines. My Samurais are build to take apart the majority of these decks. Decree's shut down a fourth of their deck while Shogun swamps spell cards, and traps if I don't have Decree down yet. To protect my Samurais I have Shrinks for usual battle purposes and Books for dodging destruction and such. The books are rather versatile in that I can flip stuff like Stardust down and auto-kill it with Zanji while Irou stops Hamsters from searching. The rest of the deck consists of a lot of staples and general control cards like Yaichi and Hand. I think you guys get the general idea though. Looking past the decklist is a list of cards I've been considering for deck. Oppression for example fits the idea of anti-meta and doesn't hurt me much. But then I may be running too many traps. On the other hand, Double-Edged Sword Technique allows a greater push for damage and or Hand ammo, but then I'm still running more traps and I may get bottomlessed. So help me out. r/f for r/f upon request if you contribute something intelligent.
