Default RMT 2-VS-2 (again)

This is dragged over from the old board, thought I'd bring it back here.
------
This team is for two-on-two battles, please rate.

The two starters:

Kyogre@Chesto
-Rest
-Surf
-Blizzard
-Thunder
*Timid nature, 252 speed/225 SA/6 HP

First post and I'm using Kyogre. Please note this is Kyogre, not Ky00ber (with calm mind). He rarely gets used for anything but Drizzle, gets swapped out on the first turn. So I have no problems with using Kyogre.

Ludicolo@lefties
-Leech seed
-DT
-Surf
-Toxic
*Bold nature, 252 HP/252 defence/6 SA
I might swap Surf for dive. The goal is to get rooted and draw the attacks to Ludicolo, who recovers every turn while doing damage.

The four non-starters:

Lanturn@lefties
-Surf
-Confuse Ray
-Toxic
-Blizzard
*Bold nature, 252 SA/252 defence/6 HP

Usually replaces Kyogre in the first round. Annoyance. Blizzard keeps away flyers. (Might swap blizzard for thunder.)

Kingdra@Lefties
-Surf
-Toxic
-Rest
-Blizzard
*Timid nature, 252 defence/252 SD/6 HP

Deals damage, stays alive.

Starmie@Lum
-Skill Swap
-Rapid Spin
-Recover
-Confuse Ray
*Timid nature, 252 speed/129 defence/129 SD

Rapid spin keeps away spikes, skill swaps, then annoys. (Might put on surf.)

Slaking@Lum
-Amnesia
-Return
-Brick Break
-Slack Off
*Adament nature, 252 attack/252 SD/6 speed

Works with Starmie. Amnesia for protection.

The basic idea is to start with Ludicolo and Lanturn disabling them, and laying down damage with surf. If either faints, Kingdra steps in. Once Kindra or the other one dies, Starmie and Slaking set up, then Slaking sweeps. When Starmie is down, Kyogre joins Slaking and hopefully gets the job done.

If they have a spiker (usually Skarm), Kyogre stays in just long enough to kill it, then switch to Starmie and rapid spin. If they have a heal beller, weather changer, or hazer, kill it ASAP with Slaking or Kyogre. If the weather changes, Kyogre goes in for a turn.

The only repeat weaknesses I see are grass, electric, and Bug.

Surf's damage is 95*2*1.5=285, due to drizzle and STAB.

I guess that about wraps it up.

It doesnt really matter if Kyogre is 'just for Drizzle'... did you ever think about if that might be one of the reason he is usually banned and thought of as cheap?

I play in an environment with tons of Ky00ber, Groudon, Latios@soul dew, and r4ykw4z4. For no 00ber battles, I have

Chimecho@Lum
-Rain Dance
-Heal Bell
-Reflect
-Light Screen
*Jolly, 252 speed/252 HP/6 SD

and I put RD on Starmie.

On a tank like Kingdra, Lefties>Lum (I never play with item clauses).
What does thunder to for Lanturn? Maybe against other waters?
If someone would tell me how the damage volt absorb recovers is calculated, I might put thunder on Starmie.

Like I said before, no Flyers/levetaters to work with Slaking's EQ, BB for walls (does it break safeguard?) and without truant, slack off>rest. We had this exact argument on the old board, if I am not mistaken.

I hate Item Clause... it's impossible... there are only a few good items in r/s...

oh yeah, duh... I forgot about EQ hitting your partner... but you NEED Shadow Ball for Ghosts...

There are virtually no ghosts where I play, and Slaking is never alone, as this is for double battles.
