Default Widespread dud

if my opponent is running Glads and they attack with say 2 (doesnt matter which 2) when they activate the tag-out effect can i chain my dud and target the 2 glads (the one tagging out and the other that attacked) so when the first one tags out the other gets nuked?

You would have to do it before they activate the effect, since returning the Gladiator to the deck is a cost.

More like it's a sure-fire way to help them with tag-outs.

Except it's pretty iffy now that they have 3 Smash and so forth...
