Really, it wasn't that long ago that you created this thread. When people click on this FR/LG board, they WILL see this thread on the FIRST page and someone who can help WILL respond. Bumping is useless. But until someone has a better answer, I advise you to try searching for it. Gamefaqs is a good site.

Well... actually I just looked on Gamefaqs myself and couldn't find anything. Then I tried googling for it, and still couldn't find anything. Sorry, does anybody even know where Metal Coat is!? |

Does anything in this game have Covet? 40 PP vs 10 makes a lot of difference.

I thought i already posted the answer to this somewhere....
well you get metal coat at battle tower
its on at the northern most point of isalnd seven i believe.
maybe island six, I forget.
but you get it for setting a new time in one of the four events.
try single, or double.
you can also get upgrade, kings rock, and dragon scale.

Using Trick would be another way. Have your Alakazam give the wild pokemon something nearly free like antidote or mail, and get the item it was carrying. But I'm not sure what would happen if the Magnemite didn't have a metal coat.

Go to the southern monument on Island Five or six and it in a pokeball on the ground, by the way have a lemonade in your inventory to get a Tm from the dead onix.

BTW it turns out there is one creature in the game that learns Covet. Surprisingly enough that creature is Snorlax????
