I'll gladly donate any I get to those who want to build GK. Seems like decent support.

"The field is treated as Necrovalley"

Interesting wording...most cards say "this cards name is treated as". Wonder if this is just new wording for that sentence or what.

It's the same as Maiden of the Aqua. But it doesn't mention whether Necrovalley's effects are applied or not.

Most likely not since they should be aware that there would be those kids that play this card that have never heard of Necro Valley.

Wrong

Its the same as Maiden of Aqua

As long as this card remains face-up on the field, the field is treated as "Umi" (however there is no increasing or decreasing of ATK/DEF due to "Umi"'s effect). If there is an active Field Spell Card on the field, this effect is not applied.

except they actually worded it properly this time

It is honestly about time that they have some new support. I will admit though, it seems a underpowered. The monster that discards for Necrovalley is still much better in my opinion.

The effect of NV would not be applied.
It would have to actually say it on the card.

Ha I told you the sneak card would be a Gravekeeper!

First ultra GK is it not? And she's hawt. ;D

Obvious ruilings. The field is treated as Necorvalley yes, but obviously it will not have the effects of Necrovalley. Which is the same as Maiden I beileve. Card seems bad though.

Nothing is mentioned in Priestess's text like the parentheses in Maiden's text.

Once we get some rulings it'll clear things up.

thats because konami isn't treating players like ******s any more

I still use my pyramid turtles that explicitly say that I do not need to tribute a monster for any LV 5 or higher monster I search out with its effect

If you only have the Priestess, I wouldn't expect the "Necrovalley" effects to apply.

The Priestess is intended to support Gravekeeper cards that need "Necrovalley" to be on the field in order to use their effects, like "Gravekeeper's Assailant".

Isn't Assailant the only one that actually needs Necrovalley on the field for its effect? The whole thing seems kinda unnecessary when you can easy use BoM.

I don't believe its a good card... kinda meh card. might be used in 1 if Flamvell magician is used in the deck, only to be able to create Arcanite Magician.

Royal Tribute, Cat of Il Omen, Assailant, OWL OF LUCK (holy jeebus)

3 star spellcaster is nice with Flameveil Magician for Arcanite Magician too.

I'll be honest when I say that I'm surprised she isnt a tuner, though.

What's the point of Royal Tribute though? Majority of the decks I know play out of their graveyard so it's like doing your opponent a favor; 1200 is too squishy for a momentary setback anway. With Necrovalley + Royal Tribute, you can actually shut them down.

Not to mention that multiples of her give a healthy ATK/DEF boost to them, but yeah Royal Tribute can now be played without it relying too much on the Necrovalley.

if only ccv is still legal, then priestess would be soooooo hot.

edit: oops, forgot that she would boost herself by 200 atk...never mind. =(
