Default Help On A Question That Would Be Appreciated

I need To Know If This Would Work,For Example Lets Say they have 4 life And i have a goblin warchief and a goblin Sledder on the field and i attack with them both then could i then sac the sledder after he took damage and power up the warchief and they take a total of 4?thanx In advance

Default if you attacked him and he chose his blockers and declared he would take the rest...

you can respond before damge is dealt and boost an unblocked goblin to deal him the lethal 4.

With only a Goblin Warchief (2/2) and a Goblin Sledder (1/1) on the field it would be impossible to deal four damage to your opponent.

Once damage goes on the stack (both Warchief and Sledder put their damage on at same time), it cannot be changed by giving the creature +1/+1.

refer to post above. once damage is on the stack, you cannot deal more damage in combat. so yes, you can sac the sledder to make the warchief a 3/3, but it won't do anything as damage has already been dealt.
