There is another thread on this type of deck that has gotten a lot of traffic and this build looks pretty similar to the other one. I'm personally not a big fan of including the King Dragun pieces in here, but I have seen it run before. I run a deck like this but I don't run Dragon's Mirror, so I haven't had much use for King Dragun (the Future Fusion always dumps five dragons for Five-Headed Dragon).

I still maintain that given the current meta (now with Destiny Hero Zombies in addition to Lightsworn and Blackwings), this type of deck is very effective and for whatever reason is being largely ignored by the community. I'm very happy with this deck's performance and I would continue to run it as long as the meta stays relatively unchanged. I do, however, like having the third Divine Wrath in there, mainly because you will see a lot of Brionac out there in addition to the Honest/Kalut and I really like making sure you have the ability to kill off the Brionac if it comes out.

3 masked dragon please. That is the card that makes the whole deck tick.
a second exploder would probably be a good option as well. Disaster should be more focused on the low level monsters. controlling the field with drago and keep prescence up with masked dragons until either totem allows for a free LaDD summon or REDMD swarm.

Creature swap has worked wonders for me. swapping over a masked dragon, totem, or some other useless small monster is incredible.

plaguespreader zombie is an immense help to the deck and doesnt conflict with totem... you can get rid of it. in addition it is another target for debris dragon.

here is an example of a side:

-SIDE DECK-
2|Mfc|My Body As A Shield -koaki drago with this turn one is SUCH a pain in the ass for almost every deck.

1|Rgbt|Trap Stun -good chainable card for bottomless, torr, mirror force, etc.

1|Ysd|Dust Tornado -chainable vs oppression etc etc. favorable for blackwings.

2|Dp03|Burial from a Different Dimension -useable for plague, totem, and wyverns obv. i just didnt have room in main really.

2|Anpr|Fairy Wind -this card is sick vs BWs. chainable removal on oppression/whirlwind/call and a lil burn is nice. plus useful vs rogue decks that tend to stall etc etc.

2|Glas|Light-Imprisoning Mirror -pretty obvious imo.

1|Ptdn|Prime Material Dragon -swappable with genesis for removal heavy matchups or vs burn.

1|Sovr|Clear Vice Dragon -amazing vs lightsworn, atk increase effect actually doesn't use the chain link. it is simply always double the opponents monster's atk. so if they honest it recalculates. for example: CVD atk garoth. CVD atk becomes 3700. Player activates honest as substep 4(last substep in the damage step) Garoth's atk goes to 5550. CVD recalculates atk automatically without using a chain link to become 11000.

3|Sdzw|Imperial Iron Wall -seriously the most amazing card this format. period. almost wanna main it it is that good, only reason not is is shuts down your wyverns and sarcos and is bad vs lightsworn, allows totem to continually use it's effect though, as well as plaguespreader. Shuts down mezuki, DaD effect, kycoo, Allure, necro gardna, macro, dimension fissure(being the most frequently sided in card vs this deck... and it is a hell of a lot of trouble without imperial.)bottomless trap hole, malicious, gold sarco, vayu, dimensional prison, chaos sorcerer, book of life, caius, cyber valley, D.D. Crow, D.D. everything, Dark Simorgh, Future visions, phantom of chaos, Shiny Black C, Red-eyes wyvern, and Soul Release just to name a few frequently played cards.

for the two who commented on originality and/or questioning how the deck works

please visit dragonalchemists "inner disaster" thread as it's his deck and has explained its workings many times

Personally I'd side My Body as a Shield and Swords of Revealing light. Add in a third Masked Dragon (don't know why I see so many only running 2) and other Exploder Dragon. Try adding in a PSZ or Flamvell of the Guard. More Turners are always a good thing. Has for your side deck it all comes down to the meta in your area. If you want check my Disaster Dragon and see the Side Deck I got go ahead, its pretty standard really.
