Genex Deck
I'm trying to build a Genex Deck because I find the archetype interesting and I'm finding it to be rather tough because of all the various strategies that can be used with the archetype. Has anyone thought of a good build to use these guys effectively? Here's the build I have currently made. I haven't tested it yet but it should work.
Monsters: 23
2 Genex Controller
3 Genex Searcher
2 Genex Worker
2 Genex Blast
2 Ally Genex Remote
3 Ally Genex Changer
2 Real Genex Oracle
2 Real Genex Turbo
3 Real Genex Accelerator
1 Cyber Dragon
1 Sangan
Spells: 10
2 Burden of the Mighty
2 Swing of Memories
2 Allure of Darkness
1 Smashing Ground
1 Heavy Storm
1 Mystical Space Typhoon
1 Limiter Removal
Traps: 7
2 Bottomless Trap Hole
2 Ultimate Offering
1 Torrential Tribute
1 Mirror Force
1 Call of the Haunted
Extra:
2 Geo Genex
2 Hydro Genex
2 Wind Farm Genex
2 Real Genex Vindicate
2 Ally Genex Triarm
? Blah Blah Blah
The above build is a Wind focused Genex Deck. Any ideas/help with this archetype?

Genex
It looks pretty good to me. You used some of the same combos as i used in mine but some of the cards are ones i haven't seen because i use the DS game instead of real cards. so yeah so far i like it. But add another Genex controller!

Which game do you play? I might have to buy it so I can test this deck out.

Hmm... looks like a pretty solid build for a Genex Deck =] Heh, though WIND variants are a bit uncommon How well does this run for you?
The only things I'd change are:
-3 Shrink
-2 Sakuretsu Armor
+1 Sangan
+2 Burden of the Mighty
+1 Mirror Force
+1 Torrential Tribute

Oh wow. I didn't even see that I had another response on this thread!
I think the above changes are pretty good so I'll go with them. Hmm maybe I'll squeeze in Dark Simorgh.

good to see another Genex lover. not really related to yr deck build, but i threw in The World into my Genex deck because of how easy it was to have monsters on field by using this guys.
Genex Power Planner
Real Genex Magna
Real Genex Crusher
Real Genex Turbo
see the loop? lol its fun. i had 2 Genex decks focusing on this loop

That's pretty cool. You turned them into Gadgets. I never thought about that.

yeah most pple dont remember Genex Power Planner, as its from the only DT set (2) where no one set their eyes on. with this combo, since i can pretty much keep my hand, my friends suggested throwing in Tragoedia (which i nv did though)

Well, there's always the obvious one.
Future Fusion -> Jinzo - Returner x3 -> x3 Jinzo -> Birdman/Controller (I like controller, because it's more lulzy to still summon his other Synchros) -> Black Train Real Genex.

i experimented with a Wind Genex deck, and found that The Tricky is the easiest ticket to R-Genex Vindikite. Instant Fusion for Alligator Sword Dragon works better, but its hard to get. It also equals an instant lv 8 synchro.
I also included Jinzo for Locomotion R-Genex and to kill traps.
Oh and -1 Genex Searcher for +1 Genex Controller.

the creator
i reccomend adding "the creator" to your deck and a Monster Reincarnation (i apologise 4 spelling in advance) i use these because it it easier to bring back your tuners that u need in order to syncro. plus the downside to the creators effect is that is that you cant bring it back from the graveyard to the field so the best option is to bring it back to your hand.

U Need Alot Of Improvement!!!
if ur deck is a wind based deck then u shouldnt have a Hydro Genex in ur side deck!
- Pointer: dont include cards tht u wont need or arnt related!!!
ur deck need power, and having week monsters like tht wont help u improve!
if ur gonna make a wind(genex based) deck, then u will need to put in a field spell for winds. In my opinion u should put in a Rising Air Current! it will go gud with ur deck!!!
and last of all, u shouldnt just make a deck tht just revolves around winds while using genex cards. Genex cards are well used with changing attributes, just find a way tht all attributes work well with each other! I'm also making a genex deck!
I'll post mine a lil bit!

Try running my deck, it's pretty smooth. It's only loosely based on Genex, but it's fun.
Monsters (20):
Dark Simorgh x3
Shield Wing x1
Genex Ally Birdman x3
Genex Blastfan x3
Slate Warrior x2
Mist Valley Falcon x3
Dodger Dragon x2 (For Solemn)
Goblindbergh x3 (For Blastfan)
Ape Fighter x2 (Power)
Spells (16):
Star Changer x3 (Synchros)
Terraforming x2 (Optional, this deck runs fast enough that sometimes its a dead draw)
Divine Wind of Mist Valley x3
Burial from a Different Dimension x1 (Simorgh)
Mystical Space Typhoon x1
Smashing Ground x2 (Because generally your monsters are weak)
Lightning Vortex x1 (Not Dark Hole because you need the discard)
Monster Reborn x1 (Blastfan, Birdman or Simorgh anything else is pretty much a waste, so save it)
Heavy Storm x 1
Magical Mallet x2 (Strictly draw power, Pot of Duality is too slow to run in here)
Traps (4):
Mirror Force x1
Bottomless Trap Hole x1
Magic Cylinder x1
Torrential Tribute x1
Extra Deck (9):
Genex Ally Axel x1
Genex Ally Triforce x3 (Really easy to get three out and really easy to get his Earth effect with Goblindbergh and Birdman)
Locomotion R-Genex x1
Vindikite R-Genex x2 (A little more difficult to summon, but the effect is really great for the deck)
Number 11: Big Eye x1 (Dont actually have but it's good for when you get Dark Simorgh and Triforce at the same time)
Number 17: Leviathan Dragon x1 (Mainly just an extra)
The Terraforming can be replaced with any trap staples you want, but for the smoothness of the deck, I wouldn't change the spells around too much. This deck runs well against every deck that I've faced except for other swarms. It still wins, but it has problems stopping them. Fairies are the worst and Blackwing is moderate.
Strats:
Summon Goblindbergh when you have Blastfan in your hand and Divine on the field. Summon Gob, special Blastfan, get Birdman to your hand, bring Blastfan to your hand to special Birdman. Activate divines effect to swarm another Blastfan, and get another Birdman to your hand. Easily synch for Earth effect Triforce or save Gob, summon Normal Triforce and wait until next turn to return Gob to your hand with your other Birdman and start the process over again. It's a really fun and really easy deck to use. I thought it all by myself. I whoop on people in tournaments all the time and if you're willing to playtest a little, it'd be worth it.
The same strat works with Star Changer as well. If you don't have Star Changer, replace for Harmonic Waves, it's the same concept and easier to find. Cheers, happy gaming.

Looking at this topic, it's been necrobumped so many times it's silly. Seriously, almost each one of the 6 posts before mine had multiple months since the last post, and none of them realized they were necrobumping (or if they did they didn't mention it)
