5D's Episodes 80-83 Summaries

Episode 80: The Mysterious Super Mechanic (10/14)
Bruno, the amnesiac youth that Yusei and the others are taking care of on behalf of Mikage and Ushio, is an expert regarding D-Wheel technology. Yusei quickly gets along well with him.
1. Yusei and friends take care of the amnesic Bruno at the request of Ushio and Mikage. Bruno gets along with Yusei instantly due to his excellent abilities with D-Wheels and Technology.
2. Yusei and friends are asked to take care of the amnesic Bruno at Ushio and Mikage's request, as he is an expert concerning technology and D-Wheels. Yusei agrees without a second thought.

Episode 81: Operation: Capture Jaeger!
Jaeger has stolen the engine program that Yusei and Bruno created. Yusei and the others go after him in order to retrieve the program.
1. The Engine Program designed by Yusei and Bruno is stolen by Jaeger. To get it back, Yusei tails Jaeger.
2. Jaeger stole Bruno and Yusei's Engine Program. To get back the program, Yusei follows him.

Episode 82: Yusei Fudo: 100% Chance of Defeat
Placid tries to upload Yusei and the others' program into a Riding Roid. Just then, Yusei and Jaeger are locked in by a robot in control of a lock deck.
1. Yusei must duel with Jaeger against a robot that uses a Lock Deck. Yusei tries to fight hard, but his attacks are sealed off by the robot.
2. Placiado tries to upload Yusei's new riding program into a Riding Roid. Yuusei and Jaeger find themselves sealed by the robot's lock deck.

Episode 83: A Suspect!? Jack Atlas (11/4)
One morning, Jack is suddenly arrested by Security. He pleads that he's innocent. Yusei and the others are puzzled.
1. A crime is traced back to Yusei's place, thus Jack is placed under arrest by the Security force of the Public Welfare Enforcement Bureau. However, Jack doesn't remember having done a thing with the body in question at all. Yusei is quite perplexed about all this.
2. Jack is suddenly arrested by Security one morning, despite his lack of any knowledge of the crime... Yusei is confused over the matter..

Episode 80 sounds boring, not really interested in seeing another new character, especially since we haven't really heard from the other new characters that were introduced this season.
The other episodes sound better, it is a big intriguing that they've had Jaeger be the one to be included, its about time.

80- I still follow the Bruno=Dark Glass theory. My guess is that somebody duels here, right?
81- Jeager steals Yusei's Riding Duel program. Kinda expected, then they look for him.
82- Yusei tags with Jeager to duel yet another Riding Roid. Hopefully we can see more of Jeager's Jesters.
83- Another Jack Atlas episode; hopefully we see Savior Demon's Dragon. We can all assume Placido, Luciano, and Jose transformed into him to frame him for the crime. But why Jack?

All of these episodes are starting to look more and more like pointless crap... Where the second half of 5D's was Full Signer House, the second season is... I can't enough name a show bad enough.

This season was not as bad as I expected it to be.
Sure, there are some misses (such as the boring fillers and some of the characters' decks- the repetitive Infinity monsters and Sherry's uninteresting French deck). There are also the benefits of focusing on the other main characters. |
