Duelist League is the perfect place for young or new players to find fun and exciting Duels.

In Duelist League, each Duelist Duels against other Duelists their age to try and win special Duelist Cards. At the beginning of each 2-hour Duelist League session, each participating Duelist should receive 3 Duelist Cards.

For the next 2 hours, Duelists will participate in Advanced Format Open Dueling, playing single Duels. The winner of each Duel will be awarded one of the opponent’s Duelist Cards.

Once a Duelist has collected 5 Duelist Cards, he or she must turn them in, after which he or she can choose a Duelist League Rare Card from the available selection. Duelists need to “cash in” their 5 Duelist Cards immediately – they cannot continue playing to try to win more.

If a Duelist loses their last Duelist Card in a Duel, he or she can first choose a card from the Duelist League Commons, and then be presented with a random Duelist League Rare Card. At the end of the 2 hour League session, any Duelists who have not yet earned a Duelist League Rare should report to the tournament organizer. They should then be allowed to pick a Duelist League Rare, choosing in order from the Duelist with the most Duelist Cards, to the Duelist with the least. So, a Duelist with 4 Duelist League cards will pick first, followed by those with 3 Duelist cards, and so on; until everyone has received a Duelist League Rare. (In case of ties for number of Duelist Cards, break ties in favor of the youngest Duelist.) Everybody earns a prize card, but Duelists who win faster will get first pick!

Duelist League only lasts for 2 hours each time, so it’s easy to find the time to Duel.

1pm Pegasus League/Traditional Format
This month’s format: Caste Party
All ages
$5 entry fee
Everyone will get one Turbo Pack

For our regular time and info goto:
http://www.pojo.biz/board/showthread.php?t=756748

1st Place: 6 Turbo Packs
2nd Place: 4 Turbo Packs
3rd Place: 3 Turbo Packs
4th Place: 2 Turbo Packs

To receive the top 4 prizes, you must have started to play the Pegasus League at Savy's since October 1st, 2009 and
accumulated points since then.
For more info in how to accumulate points and how the Pegasus League works, go to:
http://www.yugioh-card.com/en/league/index.html

it is my friend. Konami is holding it earlier to make the Stardust Overdrive cards legal for the upcoming regionals and Shonen jumps. Theyre trying to catch the TCG players with the OCG players.

Oh my.. No No No. You make it seem that you do not have a good turn out at your SPs. IF anything you will probably have more than you can handle.

Not a good turn out?
LOL
FYI ....we had 240 duelists at our last sneak peak, most of any store in the Los Angeles area.
Actually we had the most duelists since the Crimison Crisis sneak peek.
I dont want to buy $900 worth of iPods and only 32 players enter.
Catch my drift?

From this quote it seems that you are trying to imply that you did not have enough people to sign up.

But I saw pictures from the event and you obviously had a very large turn out, so to say something like "it depends on how many people sign up" seems really un-smart.

No where did I say that you do not have a large turn out.

My bad.
But it does depend how many will sign up for that tournament only.
I am always trying new things to make all you duelists happy and play in a tournament and not just open dueling
Last time no wanted to enter the tournament cause I wasnt giving out Ancient Prophecy packs so no one signed up.
Hopefully the iPods will attract duelists to enter our tournament.
