That's true in the gold/silver series it states team rocket returned after 3 years so Red is now 12/13 depending on his birthday date.

I take the movies as ďstories in a different dimension from the main story of the mangaĒ. Iím entirely just an audience member for them. I check the plot and script that gets sent to me from Toei Animation. You're classed as mentally ill, if you claim your opinions as facts.

No. The resemblance is intentional, but Red is not Ash, and Blue is not Gary.

Red Manga is obviously the worst, Red In-Game has a full team and fully evolved pokemon and more powerful pokemon than Ash does. So, in order from worst to best, it's: Red Manga, Ash, Red In-Game.

That's one hell of an incomplete list.

You forgot to mention that Manga Red's Bulbasaur evolved to Venusaur. Manga Red also has an Espeon, Snorlax, Aerodactyl, and Gyarados that he uses regularly. He did also catch and use Mewtwo at one point. Can't forget about that.

Furthermore, in terms of actual characterization Manga Red, as stock as he is, is considerably more deep and complex of a character. He actually has growth, maturity, and doesn't pull deus ex machina out his ass like crazy.

To be able to objectively compare the different characters, you'd need more time and knowledge than this, but since nobody here has bothered to read the Manga (and as such doesn't know the first thing about it), such an assessment is impossible.

Hey guys I'm new to the Pojo forums, but I'm not new to forums themselves. I'm really active on the UT forums.

I like Red better then Ash mainly because the Anime went down hill from the Johto season and Red is just a kewl trainer with his espeon, snorlax, venasaur, so you get the idea. :d

I haven't read the whole manga series yet but i'm just past SS Anne so i don't know about Red's full in-manga pokemon list besides i only just started reading Pokemon Manga just 2 months ago.

You don't post a comparison unless you provide the full scope of the characters. Otherwise it just results in overwhelming bias in those ignorant of who the characters are.
