Solemn- dumbest limit ever?
The new list was preety good other than limiting solemn, its the most balanced card for its costs and helped so many decks. Think anyone will even run this at one and will it ever come back to three? Discuss

It is a stupid limit.
I still think the list is a fake one though, even if posted on Shriek. It is not that hard to use Photoshop.
Until I hear there was confirmation I am skeptical.

Maybe we'll get a different list then OCG now that Konami is in complete control over the game.. Maybe they'll hit TCG exclusives to soften the blow of us losing solemn.
My deck can work around losing it, but many other decks can't. I feel sad for them.. and it is really the only thing wrong about the list.

if the banlist isn't fake, ill probably quit yugioh.
but i dont care about solemn. Dark bribe + my body as a shield is better IMO

Sorry if I have a lot of typos in my posts (like oak instead of otk). My iPad makes auto corrections and doesn't consider most ygo terms to be actual words.

Lulz.
The only thing on the rest of that list that I don't like is Gale to 1 while Black Whirlwind is still at 3. Both should be at 2.

..The V-Jump got us the effect of the new promo inside of it plus the 2 synchro monsters coming in the value book, the list is real.

My opinion
Solemn is one of the most skillful cards in the entire game.
I am sad to see it at 1
However, opening with triple solemn allows too much control
Konami felt it wasnt healthy
They might be right, for this format, but it will come back when the time is right.

Smart limit. Solemn's extremely powerful. That's why it's limited. And the cost gets smaller each time.

In all honesty I think Solemn is probably better at one now. I mean let's face it, the ability to say "No" three times a duel with a cost that can always be payed regardless of how low you are in life is too powerful to be in 3s. I'll adapt to this list just like I adapt to every other list and play this format. I finally see a format of skill coming for the next six months.

Not that dumb, I'm personally tired of the 3 of in every deck. Sure it's a crutch for certain (bad) decks, but it also gave decks like Blackwings and other "go all out" decks too big of a safety net.
It's going to make players have to play more carefully now that they won't have Solemn to back up big plays, and maybe just maybe will slow this game down.

Solemn at 1 was dumb, but not as dumb as leaving LS untouched.

I don't get you people..
Solemn IS replaceable.. If you are relying solely on solemn to beat LS decks ur doing something wrong. LS didn't lose or gain any cards. The decks + decklists stay the same until new support for them comes out.
The same counter strategies VS ls have not been touched. If you really want solemn that bad.. just use other counter traps.
Pojo people are so blind..
Just wait till you see the first New Format SJC Top 8's.. LS will see more play but it will be defeated the same as it was defeated last format..
@ whoever said Solemn will come back when the time is right..
I've got a feeling this will be one of those cards that will never be unlimited again.

everyone is crying and making the same arguements that people made when book of moon was limited when everyone was playing 3´s of it. Just suck it up and it might come back to 2 next format.

Definitely something I didn't agree with the list, but I'm in a optimistic mood today so I'm going to be happy with the Bans.

Solemn @ 2 would be fine, 1 is just plain stupid. It's almost not worth playing @ 1! Card of Safe Return getting banned is also stupid. It wasn't hurting anybody.
