What they need to do is make more broken Tribute monsters that only get their effects when Trib. Summoned. That will balance out the power.
Synchros are great for the game. They saved the series from the barf that was GX

I think that has more to do with the Shift that the anime is taking. There is a reason we are derping out Xyzs like crazy right now.
If the game survives that long I bet Synchros will gain equal footing with Xyzs in the meta after the anime hype dies a little. There is a reason that Plants were completely neutered in 2012.
It will be called...the Great Extra Deck War of 2013. Synchros and Xyz will bring out their big guns and wage all out slaughter...Fusions will most likely be decimated in the ********* though they may have some Champions...

Yeah but that's ice and all but that was because of Tour Guide, Rabbit, Max C, Chains etc. Sure there was Zenmaines but that's reprinted now.

Meh I guess. I'm just super biased against synchros because like i said, I got jacked and thus hate synchros and refuse to use them.
Also Roach isn't a staple, he's just nice to have.
Chain and emeral will problably be 30-40 but meh, better than zemaines.

XyZ's are killing this game quicker than ever. Xyz"s are quicker than synchros are, and they have much better effects than synchros do as you will see when September comes. Trishula, Dark Strike Fighter, Scrap Dragon, Stardust, Goyo, Brionac, Formula, and T.G. Hyper Librarian are the only noteworthy synchros people would take a glance at (assuming all of them were unbanned.) XyZ's are making this game too short. I remember when putting a Spirit Reaper in ATK mode when I was at 8k being a safe thing, but now not even. If the opponent has Heavy + TGU + Reborn that is probably gonna be enough to kill me for over 8k.
I think XyZ's are not a bad thing for this game, but their effects are way more broken than synchros are and some should just be outright banned.
