The Next Shonen Jump is....
Included in the Raging Battle kits are Letters to Duelist
The Letter Goes
Quote:
Dear Duelist,
Thank you for participating in the Raging Battle Sneak Preview. There are tons of new details we want to share with you, so stay tuned while Konami's Organized play program kicks into overdrive
First off, to make this sneak peek more enjoyable, we have placed a scoresheet on the back of this letter, so you can keep track of every exciting match you play at the Raging Battle Sneak Peek.
Next, Since Yu-gi-oh! TCG National Championships are taking place this summer, you'll need to be sure to check www.yugioh-card.com/en/events to find the location and the date for the Regional Qualifier near you. The Top 32 players at each regional qualifier will receive an invite to participate in the Yu-gi-oh! TCG National Championship for the country in which they are registered. The Top 8 players will also receive an exclusive game mat.
To participate in Konami's Organized Play Program, you will need an official Konami Card Game Player ID card. These Cards are available at your local hobby store and premier events. Be sure to go online at www.cossy.konami.jp and register your Official Konami Card Game player card ID number. This site also lets you check your rankings, your win-to-loss ratio, and how you compare with the top players.
This summer will be filled with exciting events including National Chamionships, events at San Deigo Comic Con, The Next SHONEN JUMP Championship at Gen Con Indy, and the Ancient Prophecy sneak Peak!
Please go online at www.yugioh-card.com/en/survey , and take the player survey. Let us know what you think about the Raging battle sneek peak and about the set itself!
The rest of the year will be filled with more dueling action, and we're thrilled that you're a part of it. Enjoy the latest set, and keep dueling!
Your Friends at konami Digital Entertainment, INC

This is of course for those of you that will toss out the letter you get when attend the preview and to lazy to Read. Also Gen Con Indy is August 14-17. And My local told me he will not recieve the Cossy cards for another 3 weeks.
Also im sure they wont update the events section until Monday.

Excellent! Close by so everyone can attend, and allows for 2010 Nationals Qualification.
@ Supernatural: They probably needed a few months to regroup after the madness at Anaheim. I heard that SJC was quite a mess, so maybe they just need to figure out a new plan of attack to address those issues and tackle tham head-on.

I can't wait for the regionals again. Always one of the things I looked forward to in a month. Even though I got my invite, the Top 32 of regionals will be super easy. I just hope they would have it in Columbus and not California.

People who play a different card game than the play mat that they have.

They aren't putting off all of the OP. Just teh SJCs and I don't think there were many Summer SJCs anyway. They were normally from August to May, I believe.

woot for indy. The summer has always been a kindof down time for yugioh, besides the nats and worlds, so it makes sense.
People should be more focused on qualifying/requalifying for nats if they want to go.
Gen con will be a blast then it seems. Hope its still $20 for a special yugioh pass to get in.

Yes, maybe they should have had one more SJC before Indy. However, maybe there are circumstances that don't allow that to happen.

Actually, it isn't too few. Normally the summer months were dead time for SJCs anyway.

Yeah, it was posted yesterday by somebody who works at a store.
Our Tournament Store Liaison called them today and had a chat with them.
