Sangan's effect under opponents control
I know if I give my opponent control of my sangan, then I destroy it it goes to my grave, and I get its effect.
But my friend refuses to believe me, and I can't find a valid source that shows this ruling for sangan.

From the rulings from Sangan:
• If you control your opponent's "Sangan" and it is destroyed, your opponent gets the effect since it activates in his/her Graveyard.

Along with understanding the game mechanics behind where effects activate... You can always look it up on www.netrep.net
Sangan's effect activates once it hits the owner's graveyard, so the owner is the player to activate and resolve the effect.
Edit - Sniped!

Type "Sangan" into the basic search bar, and look at the 4th paragraph. Does this friend of yours post on any forums I might know of, and or have msn/aim?
