Default Reinforcement of the Army

Why was this card put at 1?

Doing so severly hinders my casual Ben Kei deck.

I mean, it was at 3 last format so why the sudden change?

Anyone have any answers as to why?

The best way I can answer that is just by saying: "It's Konami being Konami".

That makes sense... unless there's a broken Warrior card is coming out soon.

Doesn't make sense to me...

GBs have Proving Ground... LS have Charge of the Light Brigade... untouched. =/

Stratos and Twilight Rose Knight abuse this card. Although other themes have tutors those are THEME tutors. RoTA is the most generic of them and was seem as the most abusable.

Despite all this it shouldn't have gone to one. 2 would have been fine.

It shouldn't be at one, but it was correct that RotA was limited before any other general tutor, simply because it's the most splashable. Actually, it's pretty much the only splashable one.

Limiting Reinforcements was just another move to kill off TeleDAD.

Which could have been done by banning DAD, CCV and simi-ing Mali.

I'm extremely sorry that I have caused a wave of craziness in the Veteran's Forum of www.pojo.biz. My troll attempts have claimed the minds of countless, and they seem to think that whatever I say should be taken as truth, when only a fool knows never to get involved in a land war in Asia, but only slightly less well-known is this: never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line. The ideas and ideologies conveyed by myself are quite effective, which is surprisingly shocking.

A wise man once said, a simple answer is for the simple minded. I happen to agree with this said wise man, I happen to abide by this standard in life and from now on refuse to give a short answer to any question, advice or wisdom and hopefully my one answer can take care of all our questions.

there is a couple of reasons i can think of.

turrent warrior would abuse this card. sure it isnt hittable by rota, but u can hit out huge attack warriors and abuse it wit him. chances are though, this isnt y it was limited.

the main reason y was like ppl said before me, konami being konami. this wasnt to hurt tele-dad. tele-dad could easily replace 2 rota wit 2 other cards. and twilight rose knight is meant for plant decks and probaly wouldnt run 3 rota anyways (i tried it and it failed big time)

Emergency Teleport was a splashable tutor alongside Krebons and Psychic Commander, and it got limited with Reinforcement of the Army.

You cannot travel the path until you have become the path itself, that's how Dad did it, that's how America does it... and it's worked out pretty well so far. By of course, I've always worked very, very hard, and the harder I worked, the luckier I got, I'm a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work, the more I have of it.

Tutors are only as good as the card they tutor.

What he said...

When warrior toolbox, Six Samurai or Ben Kai is/are consistently beating lightsworn, that's when we should put RotA at 1 and Charge at 3...

One copy of RotA may be splashable, but only one. If you run multiples in a deck that isn't focused on warriors, you leave yourself with the possibility of a dead draw. Limiting RotA doesn't hurt a deck that can only accommodate a single copy, but it does hurt genuinely themed warrior decks.
