Hey i could use some advice plz :X

I'll double space and color for my questions that i want answered xD

So last time i played Yugioh was in 4th grade lol when there was 3 diff booster packs and like 4 structure decks.... I'm just getting back into it and by suggestion of my friend i guess im going for a remove from play monarch deck and so far i have a Dark Emperor structure deck, +2 more Caius (3 Cauis total) and 2 Raizas....

How many Mobius/Thestalos/Granmarg should i get if any?

I also have 2 enemy controllers, 2 elemental hero wildheart, 3 shrinks, 1 snipe hunter that my friend gave me which of those if any should i add to my deck?

Overall which cards should i look for to add to my deck?
(Like literally all cards that i will benefit from, commons, rares, etc.)

I know a monster reborn is prolly a given :P but still like i said, im new to yugioh again cuz ive basically forgotten everything.

I'm gunna buy a box of boosters so which one should i get? CC?

I will keep what i can/should that benefits myself and sell w/e else to buy what i need, plus i think CC will be fun cuz its new stuff :P

there was a guy at my locals that told me his first deck that he used for a tournament was 3 of the caius decks put together (all the good cards, not all of them completely ) and came in third.
I tried making one of those decks before, and it didn't do horrible but it could have been a lot better.
For buying a box, the new crimson crisis would probably be your best bet, even if you don't get many cards that you yourself could use, you could probably get some good trade bait out of it to help expand your collection or trade for cards you need in your deck.

I would advise against buying a box, you are usually better off getting singles as you are guaranteed to get the cards you want.

yeah the box thing is just for fun mainly :P i got money to blow so i WILL buy a box xD just a matter of which one... maybe Light of Destruction? maybe ill get lucky, i hear lightsworn decks are pretty good?

Granmarg Blows, try to get fiends sanctuarys, if not then Instsnt fusions will compensate.

okay so out of 2 crimson crisis boxes, i got the following:

2x Dark Voltanis
2x Dark Strike Fighter
2x Doomkaiser Dragon/Assault Mode
1x Code A Ancient Ruins
1x Multiply
1x Scanner <----- thinking of possibly adding to my deck, good idea?
1x Bone Crusher (Ultimate if im not mistaken? Its more holographic than normal)
1x Arcanite Magician/Assault Mode (Also ultimate if im right about bone crusher)
1x Hyper Psychic Blaster
1x Hyper Psychic Baster/Assault Mode
1x Armoroid
1x Blackwing Armor Master (Ultimate if i was right with bone crusher)


Are those good for holos?

Dark Voltanis is an okay card. Your best pulls are Dark Strike Fighter and Armor Master. The others aren't really that playable, but Arcanite Buster is the best Buster in the set.

Get 1 Thesty, and maybe a Mobius. Granmarg is crap.

ok thx for the monarch reply, what about zaborg the thunder monarch and kuraz the light monarch?

how bout any good commons/rares to add? i got just about every rare and common from crimson crisis now xD

zaborg isnt played much kuraz is ok but caius, raiza, mobius and thestalos are ur best bet for monarchs, as for the commons and rares none of them really help out monarch decks so no

Nah it isnt that it is just there are many variants of "monarch deck" there is macro monarch, oppression monarch and many others

no but whats the point or whats the idea of a remove from play monarch deck? and how many of the other monarchs should i use? and whixh spell and traps?

an RFG monarch deck uses D.D. survivor as a tribute engine so you will always have a monster to tribute for a monarch every turn. It usually uses D-fissure and a few copies of solemn judgment/ dark bribe for protection. you can try magic jammer/ magic drain. with ROTA getting knocked to 1, it might be a bit harder to get the survivors from the deck, but you can always run 2 copies of foolish burial and 2 copies of D.D. scout plane.

Im not gunna add ALL of those im just saying i know those could work in my deck so thoughs on which to add? and which to possibly remove from the starter deck?

I'd run:

Mobius x2
Raiza x2
Thestalos x2
Caius x2

Try to get at least Fiend's Sanctuary x2.

Granmarg only works in a Dark Gaia deck.

firstly look at the ban list for yugioh from march 1st (raiza is down to one) secondly there is a trading forum on pojo and its all done through mail. the more your trades get received on both ends the better your rep so the more trusted you are.
