well it depends really COSR is the best spell card being able to generate a +whole deck. So COSR wins, but in general for every deck i would say monster reborn.

There is not 5 or 6 cards better than Painful Choice, unless its in a deck with absolutely no cards that work with it.

Painful Choice is the best.
Kick 4 monsters into your graveyard while gaining one. Thats pretty damn good and can realy speed up your deck.
Other great Spell cards would include Rageki/Harpie's Feather Duster. Also Monster Reborn and Change Of Heart are brillant cards.

Cathedral of Nobles with 3 Reckless, 3 Jar, 3 Legacy of Yata, until you draw into Stardust Buster and Buster Mode. Set Buster Mode, activate Ultimate Offering to bring out Serket, and then kill CoN and Serket for Stardust. Activate Buster Mode during their Draw Phase.

i remeber it was good in macro monarch and d.d macro deck because you can pay 2000 lp to bring back as many so people were pumping their remove from play i was too lat too play it. |

i wish they should done the banning earlier but they had to do with dimesion fusion becoming a powerful card
i never had a dark armed to play so no i do not know the first combo

I realize that, but if we're talking about banned stuff, then Cathedral, Raigeki, Duster, Painful, and Duo are some of the better ones. Gawd I hate Duo with a passion.

i hear ya, duo was the first ban card i ever owned and i traded off before i moved and man i hated it so much you got pay 1000 to discard 2 cards form your opp hand i do not want to lose any important cards in my hand
