Default Planeswalkers among us...

Let us make ourselves Planeswalkers!

Dark Messenger 1UUU
Planeswalker - Raijin [4]
+1: Tap or Untap a non land permanent.

+0: Counter target non permanent spell. You make use this ability anytime you can play an instant. You cannot use this ability if you used an ability of Dark Messenger in your previous turn.

-8: Target Opponent skips his next turn.

Editted.

The second ability is suppose to negate [obviously], but all planeswalker's ability are classified as as sorceries, so I wanted to buck that.

I'm not sure that second ability works. I'm fairly confident that Planeswalker abilities have been established so that they can only be played at Sorcery speed.
And that last ability should say "target opponent".

Jukai Skarrg, Maniac - 1URRG
Planeswalker - Jukai [5]
+1 - Draw two cards. Target opponent draws one card.

+2 - Target creature gets +3/+3 until end of turn. Another target creature gets -3/-3 until end of turn.

-X - ~ deals X damage to each creature and each player. This damage cannot be prevented. Creature dealt damage this way cannot be regenerated.
http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e1...arrgManiac.png

Yeah, I think I'm a bit overpowered. I don't mind, seeing as it's a triple color card.

Singe, Kinni Master - 1UBR
Planeswalker - Singe [3]

+1: Draw a card, then send a card from your hand to the bottom of your library.
-X: Put a creature card with a total converted mana cost equal to X from your hand into play.
-5: Tap any number of creatures you control. Target opponent and all creatures they control takes X damage. X is equal to the total power of all your tapped creatures.

Not bad. I'd change that second ability from "hand" to "graveyard". Hand-to-play isn't much of a B ability, from what I've seen; recursion, however, it.

The last ability is just plain mean. lol.

Also, here's a Snow based Planeswalker that I would like to see.

Aurora Snow
1UBR
Planeswalker - Aurora
+2: Target nonsnow permanent becomes snow; or target snow permanent isn't snow.
-3: Destroy target nonsnow creature or land.
-7: Aurora Snow deals damage to target player equal to the number of snow permanents you control.

Years and years and years ago, Wizards had an in-character section on their chatroom where RPG players could go and hang out in real-time as their characters. I don't play RPGs but that was still fun, so Dunjohn was a blue-black task mage (i.e. low-level magic-using mercenary) who started to use green mana during the Apocalypse. He had limited planeswalking power (to access the RPG chatrooms and also to know what Pokemon were, but nothing useful against Phyrexians) so that still works.

Dunjohn, Task Mage (2)(U)(B)
Dunjohn, Task Mage comes into play with an additional loyalty counter if (G) was spent to play it.
+1: Each player discards a card. If you discard a nonland card this way, draw a card.
-1: Return target creature to it's owner's hand.
-6: Target opponent reveals his or her hand. Return all nonland permanents that player controls to their owner's hands, then choose that many cards in that player's hand. That player discards those cards.
{4}

Couldn't revisit my Invasion days without remaking one of my favourite cards in the game: Super Recoil! It was hard to word, though. I had to put the "reveal" first, which feels funny, but otherwise "that many" would trigger off the wrong thing. Also, I still haven't gotten the hang of judging planeswalker power levels yet.

interesting, two of my friends and i did this like two weeks ago and i just happen to have the paper it all got written down on. To choose what colors we were, we just used the three colors we each use most often in decks.

(me first) Nate R. 2URG [3]
+1: Target creature becomes indestructible until end of turn.
-2: Draw two cards, then discard one card.
-X: Creatures target player controls get your choice of +X/+0 or -0/-X until end of turn.

Bill F. 2WBR [4]
+1: Bill F. deals 2 damage to target creature or player.
-2: Put a 2/1 red warrior creature token with haste and first strike into play.
-7: Remove up to four target permanents from the game.

Corey A. 2UBG [4]
+1: Target creature gets +1/+0, first strike and vigilance until end of turn.
-2: Target player sacrifices a creature.
-7: Discard your hand, draw ten cards, then discard five cards.

we each came up with our own abilities, then we looked at them together and tried to balance them out by changing little things about it like where Corey A's first ability said +1/+1, now it's +1/+0, things like that.

Lord of Destruction
Planeswalker - Raijin [7]
2 R B
Lord of Destruction cannot lose loyalty counters except as a result of costs.
Indestructible.

- 1: Target creature gains double strike until the end of turn.

- 1: All Players sacrifice a non land permanent.

When this permanent is put into the graveyard from play, All permanents in play are sacrificed and any effects do not go on the stack. Then each player selects one permanent in their graveyard and put it into play.

Model - Level3, Artificer [3]
2UG
Planeswalker - Level3
+1 Put into play a 1/2 Blue and Green Homunculus creature token
-2 Sacrifice a creature you control and either: Draw 2 cards or add GGG to your mana pool
-7 Put a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control. Creatures with +1/+1 counters on them have Trample and "when this creature deals damage to a player, you may draw 1 card" until the end of your turn.

It models after my play style: summon tokens, sacrifice for some type of advantage and finish with a mass attack bonus.

-2 - Creatures you control gain "Deal 1 damage to blocking creatures" until end of turn.

It's modeled after my WoW main, he's a Retribution Paladin that I'm not really using that much anymore.

Gin the 5th [4]

+1: Tap or Untap target creature
-x: Tap x target lands. They do not untap during their controller's next untap phase.
-9: Choose 1 - Put a frost counter on all of target opponent's land or non-land permanents. Tap every permanent with a frost counter. Permanents with a frost counter don't untap during their controller's untap phase.
"All I need to do is slow you down until my icy grip can put you to a complete stop. By then, it will be too late."

and just for the hell of wanting to create another planeswalker xD

Gin the ZERO [3]
(b)(b)(b)(1)
Planeswalker - The Zero
+1: Move one loyalty counter from target planeswalker to Gin The Zero
-x: Activate one of target planeswalker's abilities. X is the amount of loyalty needed to activate that abilitiy.
-5: Remove target planeswalker from the game and move all loyalty to Gin the Zero.
"In zero, there is but nothing. I challenge the strong so none shall remain"

His abilities sound a little weird but basically he is a planeswalker killer xD Would be cool no? He's an anti-planeswalker. ^_^

my friend and i have been messing around with Magic Set Editor and here's one i came up with, just not sure how balanced it is.

Orisse, the Sadist: BBBB [3]
Planeswalker- Orisse
+1: Each player sacrifices a creature.
-2: Put a 1/1 black zombie token with deathtouch into play.
-5: Destroy all creatures. Choose up to two creature cards in your graveyard. Put one of those cards into play and the other into your hand.

Ahh, the Magic Set Editor. Gotta love it. Made so many sets with that thing..I might have to post a few more of my planeswalkers later (considering I've made somewhere between 10-20, thanks to MSE).

Orisse is fairly balanced, considering it costs four colored mana of one type. The last ability is mean...very mean. Considering the shenanigans you can pull off depending on the creatures, I'd make it cost 6 or 7.

I do love the set editor, it's free and really easy to get used to. For me it's really hard not to make awesome rares, which is pretty much most of what I've done. We should have a thread here where we can post renders of cards we make in MSE. Anyway, I think you're right about making that last ability a -6, that's a good point you brought up about the creature shenanigans.

This one is one of my favourites.

Destroyer of Reality - 5B
Planeswalker - Destroyer [2]
+1 - Sacrifice a permanent.
+1 - Discard a card.
-X - Target player sacrifices X permanents and discards X cards.

Image - http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e1...rofReality.png

Pretty basic. Turn your own misfortune into victory.
