Post Book 5 in paperback

Just to let everyone know, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix will hit stores in paperback on August 10th, 2004. As far as I know, it will be one book, and not two seperate books, since everyone thought it would have to be in to seperate parts, for the book being so big.

It's not that big anyways. Just look at Lord of the Rings(the trilogy book) or Gone With the Wind.

True, but they will definently have to put the 7th book into two seperate parts, when it is released on paperback.

August 10th?! Honestly? I saw a paperback version of OotP at my local Costco in Canada near the end of July... There were a ton of them. I think there were a couple at my local bookstore (Coles) as well. Well, maybe Canada has an earlier release date because it's closely tied to the UK?

If they can publish Les Miserable (a book that is over 1400 pages and small print to boot) in one paperback they can do this with all of the Harry Potter books.

I am not sure but I thought I already saw OOTP in paperback. I wasn't really paying attention though because I already own the hardcover edition.

I picked up Harry Potter and OotP in paperback today, for $6.79 at my local Wal-Mart.

I saw the paperback of Harry Potter-OotP at the Wal-Mart SuperCenter for $5.75, then at Krogers for $6.75. I got the hardback, it's good enough for me...but I still gotta get the first three in hardback.
