your boned if you dont get skill drain....use a couple cat of ill omen to help it out. then if you can fit in 2x cats try and pick upa couple of allures and throw them in...not sure what to take out tho.

i think im ok as far as protecting them goes.... chances r someone's gonna heavy storm me which is where magic drain comes in... solemns are not only hard to find but the dont go well w/ cards like oppression and skilldrain TOO much life point loss. Dark bribes are just plain hard to find.
as far as running the cat of ill omen. it would slow me down WAY too much. The monsters i chose were chosen because their good even while skill drains not out and their incredible when it is...
My deck might be a skill drain oppression deck, but it's also built to survive w/out skill drain or royal oppression being on the field.
The monsters effects arent very negative (none of them kill them selves) and i dont plan on special summoning very much n e ways so skill drain and royal oppression are mainly in there to destroy my opponents face.

Maybe final attack orders?
Or ASF?
If you have ASF they have to set spells first and it will help keep your traps around for a while more

I really stress Final Attack Orders and running Ohka. Final Attack is your backup Skill Drain, since without drawing Drain your dudes will die fast. Also, Exiled Force has worked pretty well for me in Skill Drain decks since you can use the effect once you play it even if drain is active.

sandman: my area runs the top three deck types; Glad's DaD's and Lightsworn's.... I've got most of my side done but if u read wat i wrote my main problems are in parenthesis...
some one please help me
and once again dark bribes r too expensive and solemn adds too much life point loss

its probably a bad idea but maybe mask of darkness? as an emergency skill drain returner. dunno really looks pretty good to mee, i'd love to test my deck out against you though. are you going to the madison regionals?

well with chainsaw insects if you have no skill drain & you kill their monster with it.
they draw a card
& with ohka you can either get a free kill on a monster since its already going to get destoryed at the end of your turn & your oppenent doesn't get any extra cards.
Thats just my opinion though.
