Default Forced requisition and thestalos

1.Can FR be initially activated (flipped face-up) if opponent's thestalos discards a card from my hand?Does "inflict damage based on monster's level" make it miss the activation window? >.>

2.If FR is already active and I activate snipe hunter's effect and discard a card, target opponent's face-down jar of greed and he chains it.

At what point would FR's continuous effect force opponent to discard? After the current chain resolves or what?

thank you

Any time in a Chain, between Chain Links..
It's Mandatory so it doesn't miss its timing.

1) No timing was missed
2) Discards for costs are not counted, I think...

1) Timing isn't missed because it's mandatory
2) I think he discard before he draws. [not 100% sure]

SkullBuster, both of those answers are wrong, I believe.

1. "Forced Requisition" can miss the timing for its initial activation (flipping it face-up from Set position). Since the last thing to resolve with "Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch" is the effect damage, you cannot activate a Set "Forced Requisition" in this case.

2. "Forced Requisition", once active, will work with any discards at all, be it for cost or effect (an already active FR cannot miss the timing for its effect).

"Forced Requisition" is a continuous effect, and its effect will be applied in-between Chain Links during a chain.
