Default Rate mah Zombehs!

Greetings fellow creatures of the night! I have my Zombie Deck that I have been experimenting with as of late and would love to get your guys opinions on it. All advice is welcomed provided it is constructive with some reasoning behind the changes (makes it easier for me to understand). Posts which just say " - this card + that card " which aren't blantantly obviously will be ignored. Anyway to the deck itself:

The first deck is your standard Zombie Swarm deck as I perceive it:

Monsters [Total: 20]

[1] Il Blud
[2] Ryu Kokki
[3] D.D. Crow
[2] Giant Rat
[2] Goblin Zombie
[1] Neo-Spacian Grand Mole
[3] Pyramid Turtle
[1] Sangan
[1] Snipe Hunter
[1] Spirit Reaper
[3] Zombie Master

I'll explain some of my unsual choices:

Giant Rats are mained due to the nature of my Side Deck. With the rats, should I decide to switch in some Kinetic Soliders to fend off Warriors and in particular Six Samurai, I have a way to get them out nice and fast.

Neo-Spacian Grand Mole is taking the spot where I would have Morphing Jar if I had no Giant Rats. However with Mole it can be searched by Giant Rat if it's services are required.

D.D. Crow has earned a place as one of my most fun monsters to have. The amount of annoyance this card gives is both useful and hilarious to see the frustration on my opponents face as he tried to bring back a monster and failed. Also does well in mirror matches.

Spells [Total: 14]
[3] Book of Life
[1] Brain Control
[3] Card of Safe Return
[2] Creature Swap
[1] Heavy Storm
[1] Lightning Vortex
[1] Monster Reborn
[1] Mystical Space Typhoon
[1] Premature Burial

Spell line-up is fairly straight forward save Brain Control which helps takes the more nastier monsters in the game off thier opponents hands for a turn and helps to make use as Tribute fodder should I happen to get Ryu Kokki or Il Blud in my hand.

Traps [Total: 7]
[1] Dust Tornado
[1] Mind Crush
[3] Solemn Judgment
[1] Torrential Tribute
[1] Trap Dustshoot

Fairly standard trap line up too. Dust Tornado added for extra Spell and Trap control since Macro and Skill Drain has a tendancy to do bad things to this deck.

Side Deck [Total: 15]
[2] Dust Tornado
[1] Giant Trunade
[1] Goblin Zombie
[3] Kinetic Soldier
[3] Light-Imprisoning Mirror
[1] Lightning Vortex
[1] Morphing Jar
[3] Threatening Roar

Nice deck dude really looks good, so im guessing you have a Ill blud huh...... well if you do thats really good. As for your spells they all look basic enough so they're good. As for your traps they're really good to but you might want to stick with Mirror Force it helps at any time so yeah try it out. 8/10

Many thanks for the kind words. And yes I do own an Il Blud I got in a trade for Darklord Zerato at the St Austel national qualifiers (the guy had bugged me half the tournament until he managed to get a hold of Il Blud).

Mirror Force isn't there for a couple of reasons. First being that I don't actually have it and no one around my area has one they're willing to part with. Second is that Mirror Force hasn't exactly been earning its keep from what I have heard. Chances are if I get a hold of one i'll switch it for Dust Tornado and stick to 2 Dust Tornados in the side deck. But needless to say i'll likely play around with it once I get one.

Anymore feedback?

I mentioned before on another Zombie line up that I like the idea of maining rats again, especially with the extra help at getting to the Kinetics when we need to. I'm not sure you need to have Crow at three as much as you should have Goblin at three, so maybe switch that around. Not too keen on Mind Crush, I know it has it's benefits but you can probably free up an extra spell spot for a Vortex or Brain Control, maybe an Allure or 2 (especially if you're running Crow). Also, Although the Zombie line up screams "Use Creature Swap", I'm a little shy on it with the incline in Scapegoat and Fires of Doomsday tokens being used. If you like it, Use with Caution. (depending on your meta). I like the use of enemy controller, it switches things that threaten my zombie masters and it combos really nicely with the Goblins. These are just thoughts and opinions, not gospel, switch it up, try it out, and play what works for you. Good Luck.

Can you please take a look and offer some insight on mine? Thanks.

Thanks for the comments. I don't think the Scapegoat and Fires of Doomsday are having that much of an effect on me in my area.

The D.D. Crows will likely stay at three until I find a third Goblin Zombie as they are pretty hard to come by from trading in my area. But I like the idea so I'll take it in kind when I manage to find that 3rd Zombie so thanks for that.

It's the same situation for Allures too. Absolutely no one in my area has them which sucks. Then again it could be a blessing since that means no DAD Decks around. Although i'd love a couple to play around with.

The other Vortex is sided in so that I can switch it out for when it's needed. Usually in place of a Creature Swap so I got that for when I need it. But for now one has been enough for me on most occasions.

Anyway thanks again for the suggestions and when I can get a hold of some Allures and a third Goblin Zombie i'll definately tune the deck up a bit.
