You should really check out Magical Exemplar when you get the chance if you haven't already.

Ah! totally forgot about him!
I have one or two from the sneak peek, thank you!
*Additional Comment*
You also reminded me of Miracle Flipper who i will certainly be including.
Now I'm thinking of not going along the Dark Magician line (although he is one of my favorites...)

I would go with a spell counter deck with Apprentices mained. Also Magical Marrionette. You could also use another Enchanter if you can get it.

Hmm, that would open a few spaces:
-2 DM
-2 Skilled DM
+1 Apprentice Magician
+2 Magical Marrionette
+1 DRE
then i would use the 2x Book of Moon, 2x Fires of Doomsday...
Additional Comment:
Anyone else got some ideas?

I'd totally second Magical Marionette, if not cause it's one of the cooler guys you could fetch with Magician's circle.
And I'd totally cut down the DMs as well. At very most just keep 1. Heh, I've had a Spellcaster deck for about a year now and actually managed to special summon DM from SDM's effect maybe 3 times out of over a hundred games.
I'd really wanna find room for at least 1 Injection Fairy Lily as well. She's just super hot IMO, goes over everything, fetchable as well with Circle, and another cool spellcaster.
Magical Exemplar is AMAZING in my opinion! I'd totally run a playset, as well as 1-2 Foolish Burial. So often you could have her out, play 1 spell and then follow it up with a Foolish to basically tutor for almost any monster in your deck you want to special summon. I've never had Foolish be a dead card, I'm running 1 Treeborn as well, if there's nothing better to grab with it at the time. More often than not it does something cool with Exemplar or just throws a DMOC in the grave to be special summoned.
I'd personally try like:
-1 Magician's Circle (I dig it, but find it too slow sometimes or end up giving my opponent an Injection Fairy or something worse)
-1 Miracle Flipper (how has he been working for ya? I didn't feel he'd be too hot, might just be me though)
-2 Dark Magician
-1 Crystal Seer
-1 Jinzo (I totally love him a lot, but I'm not sure he's totally needed here)
+1 Injection Fairy Lily
+2 Magical Exemplar
+1 Magical Dimension (I totally think a playset is a must, it's toooo hot baby)
+1 Magical Marionette
+1 Foolish Burial
Hope that sorta helps, or at least adds some new ideas.

Hey there, I'm a lot better at suggesting cards to run than advising what ones to remove, but myself I'm a huge fan of Magical Dimension, and I think I'd run three if possible. Have you considered running Royal Magical Library as a draw engine? Also, if you decide on running Book of Moon, you could make use of Limit Reverse as well if you needed to get an apprentice or Old Vindictive back onto the field and keep your life points safe for a turn. I know that's a -1 but having options sometimes outweighs a slight disadvantage.
One of my all time favorite spellcasters is Magician's Valkeria. She could prove useful as a combo card with Magical Exemplar, but I haven't playtested those cards together. If nothing else, it'd be decent side deck fodder, right? =)
They won't allow me a signature yet, but if you should have a moment I do have a deck I could use a hand with, listed here

Thanks in advance, happy gaming!

injection fairy lily has always been a fav caster of ine, i admit, but running solemns... she's down right impossible to use.
magical dimension is indeed an amazing card, and i use to run 3, but i found my hands were depleting too fast... with fires of doomsday im pretty set for summoning (it also helps with field presence and spell counters).
i agree, magician's circle is rather slow, and ill test it at 1 and up Exemplar to 2.
i have never got much use from foolish burial, but i guess with Exemplar's effect it could very well be a viable option. i will look into it during some play testing.
royal magical library... hmm... the only problem i have with it is its somewhat slowness... i have to wait for my opponent to attack it (and hope its sub 2000 attack)... i understand where you are coming from, i just think to keep this deck even semi competitive i need to try and rely on cards that can give an immediate advantage.
limit reverse... hmm.. i can only really see its advantage while i actually have a book of moon ready, which there is a 1/20 chance...
i also see why magician's valkeria has been suggested, but she is rather a hard card to obtain, and in my testings of her with WC07/08 she hasnt been that... erm... well, i havnt had 2 on the field often.. and had them both last for more than a turn is even rarer..
thanks for your idea's guys, much appreciated

Still under the impression mirracle flipper could be mighty **** unless a deck is built around him...
This deck certainly has the capacity to be quite annoying to play against - all bases covered.
-1 Mirricle Flipper
+1 Jinzo (i think two Jinzos would be pretty powerful, especially if he gets to the field with Dark Red Enchanter. He works better with Doomsday tokens and allures. Flipper is the a weakness at 1)

Yugioh Generations Mixed
Check out this Deck idea! Seriously, I never thought E-Hero's, The Dark Magician, and Blue Eyes, would be all in the ame deck along with Phantom of Chaos, and still be competitive! Check out this thread!

I like how this Deck looks! I would suggest getting a copy of Lyla if possible since she would do great in a Spellcaster Deck. She destroys Spells and Traps, plus she mills. Plus, try out Miracle Flipper when you get a chance! He can cause a lot of trouble for your opponent! *evil smirk* Do you mind taking a look at my Decks in the sig? Thanks! (Ignore Enchanter Turbo.)

miracle flipper was in there, but took him out because he's a free monster to the op. which in this format is not a good thing at all - plasma, monarchs etc etc.
iv been sketchy on lyla, but i guess if im using Exemplar things shouldnt be too bad

You have a good point about Flipper and that's something I've been concerned about...
