After all your points on why broww would be better than silva in certain situations . You choose to run 1 silva and no broww...... o.O

The discussion was Beige and Sillva. I am not running Beige because I would rather have Khaki kill a monster instead of getting a 1600 monster.

Wait it was beige we were arguing about? Beige fails. Broww is better than beige by far and neither of them compare to silva

I consider Beige better than Broww IF you play Card of Safe Return in the deck. This would enable you to have a level 4 monster that when discarded, let you both draw a card and get that monster back.
But since neither Broww or Beige are in this deck, I'd prefer if you would stay on the subject of this deck thread.

hmmmm this seems VERY similar to a deck i saw in the net a few months back I ran the deck and personally had to change them around because of remove decks and monarchs the DDV were way to situational for me. :/

When I run into Remove from Play decks, I side in S/T removal and negation. Against Monarchs, Pulling the Rug. Deck Devastation Virus is very good in this deck. I have 10 targets to choose from with Necrovalley on the field and many decks I run into are damaged by this Virus. It also allows me to more easily use Mind Crush.
Additional Comment:
I've just gotten [3] Dark Bribe. Any thoughts on how I could maybe fit some of them in?

I would say drop Sillva/GKmonster, Royal Tribute and Mind crush.
Additional Comment:
or try using Solemn's as they negate anything.

Funny you should mention Trap Dustshoot because I just made several changes to the deck, including putting in that card.
Well the deck was just altered quite a bit and I don't recall of of what just came out but Trap Dustshoot, [3] Dark Bribe and another Sillva went in and the whole Side Deck was redone.

I would like to but I think that nearly every card in here has a good place and I'm not too keen on taking any of them out. If you could make some good arguments as to what you think should come out, I'm all ears.
Additional Comment:
I've been reviewing my deck, trying to find cards to cut to make it 40 and I believe I've come up with the two best choices; -[2] Rite of Spirit OR -[1] Mind Crush and -[1] Trap Dustshoot.
If I am to cut this deck to 40, I am leaning more towards the Trap Dustshoot and Mind Crush. I like both the cards but feel my deck will still function fine without them. I also am not too keen to dropping my Rite of Spirits because I just find the card to be great; a trap version of Monster Reborn that is unaffected by Necrovalley, I just wish a third could fit lol.
Please advise on which of these pairs you think I should drop, and why. You may also suggest other cards in and out, so long as it's helpful.

I'd drop a dark bripe and a mind crush to get the deck down to 40. Somehow three dark bribes seems overkill to me.

I'll consider dropping one Dark Bribe but I'm not sure on the Mind Crush. I think I'd be more willing to drop the Trap Dustshoot before the Mind Crush. I like that with the Mind Crush, I not only can destroy a monster but also a spell or trap AND all copies of that card that they'd have in their hand. And with the assistance of Royal Tribute and Deck Devastation Virus, knowing what's in my opponents hand isn't difficult when I want too.
A negative though of Mind Crush is that if I don't have the cards to show me the hand, I'm shooting in the dark. I think that this isn't always such a bad thing because if I guess wrong, I still saw their hand AND I may get a summon from one of my Dark World monsters.
So if I do drop it to 40, I think Trap Dustshoot will go before Mind Crush. If you can think of some good arguments as to why it should be the other way around, please share them with me so that I can make the best choice for my deck. Thank you for your response and I appreciate your thoughts.

3 royal tribute is kind of heavy, and Bribe in 3's is also heavy I suggest some defense cards like Sakuretsu...or Khaki.

I know it may seem like three Royal Tributes is heavy but it actually works pretty well in this deck. I have an increased of drawing it first turn, which is great. And I can use them really well after a Morphing Jar or Card Destruction. They also serve as a way to summon Dark World monsters.
I actually have just taken out a Dark Bribe (along with Trap Dustshoot) to reduce the deck count to 40 cards so I'm not going add in anything else at this time. If you'd like to make some suggestions for other cards, I'm open to hearing them.
Just a note, I decided on dropping the Trap Dustshoot because I was finding it very difficult to actually activate it. I was finding my opponent didn't very often have four cards in hand (at least not when I had Trap Dustshoot). That could have something to do with the three Royal Tributes I play lol but in most cases, I'd rather send the monster to the Graveyard then the deck so it works out well enough.
Summary:
- [1] Trap Dustshoot
- [1] Dark Bribe
= 40 card deck

8 traps is not that many in some deck i run 13 traps and play heavy and does not affest the traps too much. you got comandants to serach out the field so who cares if you blow it up.

I care because Necrovalley is a vital card of the deck that my opponent will already be making attempts to destroy themselves so I do not wish to make it easier on them.
Additional Comment:
Recent Deck Changes
Out
Sillva, Warlord of the Dark World
Gravekeeper's Assailant
Dark World Lightning
Dark World Lightning
Book of Moon
In
Gravekeeper's Chief
Gravekeeper's Chief
Card of Safe Return
Card of Safe Return
Pot of Avarice
Recent Side Deck Changes
Out
Gren, Tactician of Dark World
Gren, Tactician of Dark World
In
Dark World Lightning
Dark World Lightning
So I just made some pretty big adjustments to the deck, aiming it on resurrection and draw power. Please give me your thoughts on these changes because I am eager to know what you think of them.

The Gravekeeper's Chief isn't worth putting in this deck as it is to slow. CCV would be so awesome in this deck if you can afford it, and when the Dark Monarch comes out replace it with that, but instead you can just put in some Dark World monsters or Jinzoes.

I think dark worlds are amazing...
anyway, I agree that chief is slow, but it should work quite well in the deck, being a target for DDV with necrovalley active and allowing a draw of card of safe return.

I had a teammate play one like this. It's not the good. You be better playing Dark World all the way.

Unownasofyet: Please see marshmallow man comment on Chief for this deck.
I would like to run Crush Card Virus when/if I get one but I'd have to alter my monster line up to make it playable in this deck. I was planning on running two Gravekeeper's Guard with a possible two Shrinks (for when Necrovalley's on the field).
All the additional Dark World monsters I wish to run are located in my Side Deck for when they are needed. I would most likely run a Mobius over the Dark Monarch if I chose to play one (I'm more interested in destroying S/T than Monster). I am interested in possibly using Jinzo(s) but I'm not sure how well it would do in this deck with the amount of Traps I have in my Deck/Side Deck (especially since they are designed to protect my Necrovalley).
marshmallow man: Thank you for seeing the reasoning behind the Chief
Bootzee: I do not know the design of Gravekeeper/Dark World your team mate played but from personal experiance playing this deck type in various forms, it is not, not good.

You should use at least one more Sillva. A standard hybrid start for DW is 3 Goldd, 2-3 Sillva, 1 Morphing Jar, Card Destruction, 2-3 DWL, 2-3 DWD.
