The Evaluation Side Deck.
My favorite Side Deck is different then keeping some same-theme cards concealed. Mine uses cards that destroy specific cards, particularly the cards that the deck revolves around/keep it running. Cards like Abyssal Designator, D.D. Designator, etc. These cards could result in dead draws for round 1 or waste of cards. Others like Getsu Fuhma, who kills all Zombies in battle. Ojama Trio, which gives you swarm-stoppers for Monarchs (And an old favorite of mine). Among others. Is this a good idea?

yes, side-decks should really be used for countering what a player runs into within they're area not just the metta in general.

The best thing to do is to plan out your Side Deck by using cards that will help counter other decks in your area and a little bit further than that.
You always want to be prepared, just in case something unique pops up.

Indeed, your Side Deck is a very important part of your game. I aim to cover the decks that I fight the most often. However, if your area is varied, then using cards that target specific cards are very powerful. I think your side has good answers to common problems. Nice work. ^^
