The Gunslinger Born
I might get this GN for Christmas. Having just read the DT series up to Wizard and Glass, am I ready for this comic without being spoiled for the last 3 books or getting lost due to information in the last 3 books?

It was my understanding that the comics were a prequel to the first DT books, so I doubt there's any spoilers - though you might want to look that up on one of the many Gunslinger fan-sites.

If there's anyone on here that's contemplating on whether or not to purchase this book, I'd say skip it if you have already read The Gunslinger and Wizard and Glass. We did finally get to see Farson though, so that was the best part for me.
The next collection looks to be titled The Long Road Home and is composed of entirely original stories in the DT universe. Hopefully the fall of In-World and Gilead will be covered here.

I really enjoyed the Gunslinger Born work, it provided a lot of insight into the early days of Roland that you're really left clueless about as you start reading the series. The artwork was great, and the story line flowed right through, which brings me to my only complaint about it--it ended too fast! About 3/4 of the pages through, and you're at the end; the rest of the pages are filled with alternate cover art for the graphic novel
Great read for anyone enjoying the Dark Tower series
