GTS Shiny Deoxys- Legit?
I was on GTS and found a Shiny Deoxys and it was only asking for a lv100 Zigzagoon. So I traded for it. So I searched again, and there it was again. Another shiny Deoxys, this time asking for a lv100 Delibird. So I traded again. Both of the Deoxys OT was GTS(yes thats it OT). Is this for real?

Its either a hacked Deoxys or at least a cloned one, If they had such a rare Pokemon let alone a shiny one I'm sure they would most probably not trade it or ask for something like a mew, celebi, Arceus etc. For your sake I hope that the one which you got is legit however the odds are against you.

just to let you know: most shinys that you get through the GTS are hacks
hell, even most you get through forum-trading are hacked

It's actually probably a valid one.
It was more than likely a real one that they were trying to copy using the GTS cloning glitch. The glitch works by submitting a pokemon for trade then turning off the power at a particular time thus having one pokemon in your party identical to one in the gts. Then you simply withdraw your pokemon in the GTS. The only catch is if it takes you too long or you have to try it multiple times there is a chance someone will trade for your pokemon. The old way around this is to put your pokemon wanted to a lv 9 or below mew. Previously this pokemon was unable to be traded on GTS because the lowest possible real mew is lv 10 (US event mew OT MYSTRY ID No:06930). Lately due to ar users finding ways to make lv 9 and below tradeable mews that can bypass the check on gts, people need to find a way to not have their pending clone traded. The easiest way is to ask for a lv100 of an unevolved form, such as in this case, a zigzagoon. I mean who would keep it a zigzagoon clear up to lv 100? So no one trades since there is a terribly low chance of someone having it, and the person cloning gets two shiny deoxys which they can later post for trades online and still keep their original. Sneaky huh? Oh, you should probably check its OT and ID number. If it is an event deoxys it will have specific ones. If it was caught using the ticket (whichever i forget which one is for ho-oh/lugia and which is for deoxys) on leafgreen or firered who knows what the numbers would be. Great job snagging the ones u did though if they were trying to be cloned. I got a lv 100 Rayquaza holding a masterball for a lv 100 metapod. Yay lucky egg + rare candy + SH|TTY metapod + slow cloner.

a good way to check if someone is trying to clone it, meaning its likely legit, is to keep checking for it. if it keeps dissappearing then coming back they're trying to clone it. if it just stays there it's almost 99% positive its a hack

Actually there is a way to check if it was legit or if it was hacked. X-Act of Smogon seems to know a formula to check the Pokémon's registry tags and see if it can get the possible stats that it has.

I mostly go on LvL. 9 and under Alakhazam, Gengar, Golems... ( When i try to clone, won't work for me anyways)

um space center deoxys also has 00010 but either way this deoxys is hacked, unless they used a program to change their ID. idk if u can in gba games though, u can in d/p wiht pokesav.
