Quick question about Book 4
I was thinking about this recently. Does anyone have any theories for why Voldemort would choose to have Barty Jr. teach Harry to throw off the Imperius Curse? Or do you think that he just decided to teach the Unforgiveables in order to put on a better guise of a DADA teacher?

Maybe he was only trying to get Harry to trust him, in order to make the trick work better.

Perhaps Barty was investigating the effects that mind-control would have on the boy, in order to better prepare for what Voldy does in Book Five.

He would probably have been a spy for Voldemort.

That would be my guess. He had to have been planning the events of book five for along time.

Dumbledore wanted Moody to teach them it, so the fact that he was Crouch Jr. was merely a coincidence.

They all sound like good. I forgot that he said it was because of Dumbledore that he taught them. Also, I just remembered that the foe's blood had to be forcebly taken.

re:
yeah I don't think Voldemort knew, nor do I think he would care. I seriously doubt Voldemort thought Harry could ever throw off his Imperius curse.
