Zombie Master is an interesting Ultimate Rare we got in Tactical Evolution. It is Dark and Level 4 with 1800 attack, which is respectable, yet a whopping 0 defense, which in short, sucks. Enemy Controller and Book of Moon are both rampant in this format, and 0 defense is not good. This is a good tech card for Zombie players though, as their deck moves back up to the top this format. You can discard one monster card from your hand to special summon one Zombie from either player's graveyard. Odds are, you will probably only get that from your own graveyard, but you never know. It is unfortuante that the discard has to be a specific card, but you could discard the monster you were planning to summon. It's a solid card, and I'd play one or two if I were using a Zombie deck.

Ratings:

Traditional: 2.75/5 It is Dark, and has 1800 attack, even if not a Warrior.
Advanced: 4.25/5 Excellent and solid tech for Zombies.

Art: 3.5/5

This card is singlehandedly responsible for the increased use of ZOmbie decks. It's ability to special summon most of the key cards for the Zombie deck is surpassed by no other monster in the game. Zombies were also screaming for a decent attack point monster of level 4 or lower. A zombie deck is packing 3 of these, and I'll have an article coming up that will feature this little Cretin so stay tuned!

Traditional-1/5
Advanced-5/5

This helped break zombies. This card is only good in zombies, and is almost useless in anything else. It almost becomes a 1800 normal monster if used in other decks. This makes Card Of safe Return broken. It helps the combo get more speed and, more cards in the graveyard. You can discard a zombie monster and get the zombie monster on the field to get out 2 monsters to force damage which can be amazing and really aggressive. Now zombies can be really defensive and offense when they want to. This card can also be side decked agianst Zombies, which i find funny.

Advanced: 5/5- In Zombies and only in zombies. He has no place in any other deck. He is the type of cards which is useless everywhere but, one deck type.

Traditional: 1/5- Otk format..

Zombies have always been a favourite decktype of mine, and it's nice to see that they are getting more support from TAEV. By itself, Master brings a new swarmability to the genre, which gives Zombies some additional speed to keep up with Six Samurai and Destiny Heroes.

When combined with Il Blud though, Zombie Master helps to break Zombies wide open.

Expect to see many brain-chomping corpse decks at a card store near you.

-----------------------------------------

Traditional:
1/5 - Zombies are too EARTH based, and so don't stand a chance with Chaos

Advanced:
4/5 - In it's own decktype (Zombies obv ^_^) it's a cornerstone for a SJC winning deck. I can't give it a 5/5 since RFG mechanics really screw it over, but don't be surprised to see this card at the Top Tables for some time to come.

Default Zombie Master

Once he comes onto the field you can send 1 Monster card from your hand to the Graveyard to special summon 1 Zombie monster from either players graveyard. Its an ok effect, but it only works for Zombies. The monster special Summoned by this effect has to be level 4 or lower. Usually your special summoning something from your own grave and it is most likely Pyramid Turtle, Spirit Reaper, or maybe another Zombie Master.

It does help if you have something like Card of Safe Return or Book of Life, but the mian threat to most Zombies are getting removed from the game. If they battle with a D.D. Warrior Lady or D.D. Assailant usually they'll stay gone unless they play Return from the Different Dimension. Its attack isn't that bad either. Zombies needed a strong monster to survive other monsters in battle without using a Tribute. Bottomless Trap Hole is also a pain because when you summon him he gets removed until the next copy hits the field.

These new Zombies use up too many resources and will be topdecking if you haven't a Vampire Lord coming back everyturn. So if you go defensive you're getting Spirit Reaper with Zombie Master and if you need to do some damage get a Pyramid Turtle that can eventually get Vampie Il Lord or Ryu Blud Kokki.

This card is starting to define this format and we're not that far into it. Lazaro Bellido took his regionals by storm with a zombie deck using 3 of these. This with Card of Safe Return and many zombies make for a whole lot of advantage. Not only that, there are so many combos you can make with zombie master. Also you can swarm really fast with this card. Then we saw 5 decks at SJC Washington D.C. use this and the deck did fairly well. This card will continue to be a big card and dominate this format unless people find answers to the deck fast.

Traditional: 1/5 Don't really like zombies here
Advanced: 4.5/5 This card is defining this format already, it's a speed format all over again and this card defines speed.
