Android Psycho Shocker...how good it is. People say Jinzo simply isn't good anymore. That isn't true, not at all. What IS true is that Jinzo is outclassed by Monarchs, namely of the Mobius type, at practically every turn. As a general rule, it's better to destroy than negate, so Monarchs are better than Jinzo. Jinzo does do well what he does, however. He still has a place in Machine decks, and some Monarch hybrids run both. You can use two of Jinzo now, which can open a Jinzo control/lockdown deck, but do as you wish.

Default Jinzo

This Android Psycho Shocker was restricted at one for the longest time. In past formats it has seen some play, but if any if was mainly in the side deck. Now that we have 2 we can play with people will be making more agressive decks that use Shield Crush and Nobleman of Crossout. People aren't able to chain their Spell Shield Type - 8 to save their monster. Unless you have a Spirit Reaper, Marshmallon, or even a Big Shield Guardna at some points a Limiter Removal may be the next card played by your opponent.

It goes toe to toe with any Monarch and just loses a little bit against Dark Ruler Ha Des. Since Jinzo negates all traps you need any kind of Quick-Play Spell to keep yourself alive. People will have to watch out for a Jinzo and Cyber Phoenix duo on the field because with those two on the field pretty much anything they can get through, unless if your playing Apprentice Engine and you search out Old Vindictive Magician to destroy the Jinzo. It has never been a bad card it just has seen different amounts of play during each format. Since it is at two I expect it to see plenty of more play.

Yay! GZ now has intenet! So now you all have to listen to my rants.

Now this was the best change to the banlist. 2 Jinzo is crazy good.
This means that trap cards are now quivering in fear. Machines were hurt by the restriction of Card Trooper, but this means that a whole host of possibilities pops up. Cyberdark monsters and machine beatdown are still strong and Jinzo will be played in those decks. It has always been good to side at least one Jinzo, but two opens up so many possibilities it's crazy. Test it out and let us know how it goes.

Jinzo has many uses. He is machine so he is obviously really good to put in a machine deck. He also negates traps which is an amazing thing to do. He can stop a mirror force, torrential, sakuretsu, and etc. He also makes a great side deck card with Royal decree being limited to 2. Also, Jinzo is great at going aggro, and can be used really good when using quickplay spell cards. It is a good idea to use a couple of quickplay spell cards when you main deck jinzo such as Enemy Controller, Book Of moon, Scapegoat, and etc.

Jinzo does have an effect that may not be a Plus one but, it can win games.
Monarchs can almost secure a plus one, but they have the risk of getting blown away by traps and having no monsters to attack with. Jinzo almost can secure an attack which is more than 25% of an oponents life points.

It may see more play with the amount of burn decks showing up. Combined with noblemans and other considerations, Jinzo can be real offensive and can win the game. Jinzo can have many uses in aggro types of decks that don't even have to be machine type monsters because of his effect of negating traps, which protects monsters that want to get to the oponents life points.

Machine has hit a low with trooper being resticted. So you will not see many machine decks. If you do see machines, they will main jinzo. Most decks that are not machine but, main jinzo are gone to be decks that try to win fast and are aggressive. Like I said before, it also makes a great side deck card.

Advanced- 3/5

Traditional: 1.5/5- Jinzo is not needed in this format. This format is more about otk's and chaos. Jinzo is a decent dark, but there are better ones.

Ah Jinzo, one of Burn's and many decks worst nightmare. Jinzo can negate all traps (except penalty game, dark coffin and statue of the wicked, and also it doesn't do anything when skill drain was already face-up on the field). This card got VERY popular at the end of last format and seems as for now, have fallen from the spotlight it once had. With the machine decks taking huge hits from the new list, Jinzo doesn't get to see much light. It's a side deck card again for now. Unless there are big changes in what's happening in the game, you can know that this guy won't be seeing as much play as Zombies or Monarchs. Always be aware of Jinzo, it caught many people by surprise last format and it can do the same this one.

Traditional: 3/5 Negates Traps, really nice, and he's a Dark!
Advanced: 3.5/5 With the fall of machines (well as we knew it from last week) He doesn't see as much play as before.
