lets say your on 2on2, and you teleport with eggsecutor. can the new pokemon attack? just wondering.

No. You Teleport, that's your attack. So you change a Pokemon with Exeggutor and then nothing. Your turn is finished.

There is only one attack per player, even in 2-on-2.

So the attacker has to decide which one to attack, and attacking differently affects the game differently.

Some Powers only work while active so this lets you have one Pokemon with a good power active while you have another pokemon active that has a good attack.
