Default Climax

What was the best climax out of all 5?
Into the chamber?
ditching umbridge and heading to the department of mysteries?
tackling 50 dementors?
triwizard tourney?
or trying to save the sorcerors stone?

I pick book fives climax

In order:
Book 5
Book 2
Book 4
Book 3
Book 1

Umbridge getting trampled by the centaurs was hilarious. Especially when Ron made that little clicking noise with his tongue and she got scared.

What? How can any of those compare to Voldemort returning to power? Book 4 had to be the most dramatic. A lot of blood, Vodemort is back, a preview of the duel to come between Harry and Voldemort, and a shift in the entire series! Book 4's ending was by far the most important.....plus Hermione kissed Harry. wheeeee!

You just like it because of the kiss. Everyone could die by book 7, but as long as Harry and Hermione got some sugar, you'd say it was the best JK

As much as I like book 4 the best, I enjoyed the climax in book 5 more. It was just too exciting, hard to put down, and nerve-racking, wondering, "are they going to make it?" as they went through the Department of Mysteries.

IMO tackling 50 Dementors isn't the climax in Prisoner of Azkaban. I think the climax took place in the Shrieking Shack and revolved around the plot of Harry and them finding out the truth about Sirius Black and Wormtail. The plot continued to spike a bit when Harry and Hermione went back in time.. but I don't think it was the main climax in the book.

Amen brother! I couldn't of said it better myself... other than the Harry/ Hermione moment, but that's just one of those things you can't help. Book Four's climax was awesome and you just couldn't put it down... many books will have a part of ten-twenty pages where you won't do anything but read. Book four? How 'bout 250 pages of can't put down reading? But hey... that's J.K. Rowling...

For me, it was definitely the coming back of Voldemort in GoF. I couldn't have put down the book even if I'd wanted to, it was like my hands were glued to it.
Really, really awesome and exciting imo, though also very sad and shocking.
