What is a Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME Sneak Preview?
Every three months, a new Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG booster pack set is released with brand-new cards to collect and add to your Deck, making it different, better, and more fun!

A Sneak Preview is the first chance anywhere to get these new cards. Each Duelist gets a few packs from the new set, then builds a new Deck using only those cards. Everybody plays against other Duelists who are also using only these new cards. Since the cards are new to everyone, it's a friendly and fun environment to play in. Afterward, the cards are theirs to keep.

What can I do as a parent?
Some kids are nervous about finding opponents to play with. You can encourage your kids to ask others to Duel, or ask a staff volunteer for help finding opponents. After your child plays against five opponents, they'll get an additional new booster pack just for playing, no matter how many games were won or lost. This is called "Open Dueling."

At the event there will also be structured tournaments, known as "Flights." These are much more competitive, and will take more time than Open Dueling, although there are greater prizes available for the winners. If your child is new to playing or not ready for a competitive environment, we suggest you point them to Open Dueling for a more relaxed atmosphere.

Directions:
From South or Richmond I-95 North Bound: Exit #74C Medical College of Virginia stay to the left and take Broad Street, State Capitol, Coliseum Exit. Go West on Broad Street to North 3rd Street. Turn right onto 3rd Street travel ¼ of a block turn right into the Greater Richmond Convention Center's Parking Deck.

From North of Richmond I-95 South/64 East Bound: Exit I-95 to the I-64 East/Third Street Exit #75. Bear right for 3rd Street (Do not go straight on the junction, it will take you to I-64 East). Travel ahead to 3rd and Marshall Streets. The Greater RichmondCenter Parking Deck will be on the left.

From West of Richmond I 64 East Bound to I-95 South to 64 East Bound: Interstate 64 East to junction Interstate 95 South to I-64 East/Third Street Exit#75. Bear right for 3rd Street (Do not go straight on the junction, it will take you to I-64 East). Travel ahead to 3rd and Marshall Streets. The Greater Richmond Center Parking Deck will be on the left.

From East of Richmond I-64 West Bound (from Airport): Exit #190 Fifth Street exit. Proceed to Fifth and Jackson Streets. Turn right onto Jackson Street and proceed to Third Street. Turn left onto Third Street travel 3 blocks (to 3rd & Marshall Streets) and turn left into the Greater Richmond Convention Center's Parking Deck.

Parking at the convention center is $6.00

Time:
Doors open at 9:00 AM. Casual play will run all day (as long as there are players) and 16 player flights will run as filled. We strongly recommend that players arrive by 1:00 PM for the best prerelease experience.

Sneak Preview Open Dueling:
This format is great for casual players and is the default format for the Yugioh Sneak Previews.
* $20.00 entry fee
* Unsanctioned, but players must have a UDE number to participate. UDE numbers will be available at the event for anyone who needs one.
* Each player will receive five packs of Tactical Evolution which are used to build a 20 card deck. Cards not received in these packs can not be used in the deck.
* Once your deck is constructed Find and play against five players. Once five duels have been completed turn in your scorecard to receive an additional pack of Tactical Evolution.
*Sign Up For Tactical Evolution Sneak Preview (Open Dueling) Online Now!* Preregistration closes at 9:00 AM the Thursday before the tournament. Credit cards are not accepted at the event site, so if you wish to use a credit card to register, you must preregister online.

Sanctioned Sealed Pack Tournaments:
For more competitive players we will be offering 16 player sanctioned sealed pack tournaments (each called a flight).
* $25.00 entry fee
* Each player will receive five packs of Tactical Evolution, which are used to build a 20 card deck. Cards not received in these packs can not be used in the deck.
* Prizes – At the end of four rounds all players with a 4-0 record will receive 10 packs; all players with a 3-1 record will receive 4 packs; and all players with a 2-2 record will receive 1 pack. All prize packs will be Tactical Evolution.

Constructed:
We will be running one constructed sanctioned tournament (using the current Advanced Format) in which participants will also be able to use the new cards!
* Start time is at 12:00 PM.
* Entry fee is $7.00.
* Prizes will be Tactical Evolution packs based on attendance.

This event is open to anyone who wishes to play!

Other Prizes:
Players in both open play and sanctioned flights will also receive a special promotional card just for registering at the Yugioh Sneak Preview! Supplies are limited, so arrive early.

Miscellaneous Notes:
While trading is fine, please note that buying/selling cards with anyone except for our authorized dealer(s), or solicting to do so elsewhere, is strictly forbidden at this event. Failure to obey this rule may result in both the buyer and the seller being removed from the event without refund, and banned from attending future events.

Star City Events also reserves the right to limit the amount of space being occupied by any one individual while trading, and does not allow the use of suitcases, handcarts, luggage carts, etc. to be used for the purpose of transporting excessive amounts of trade stock.
