Yu-Gi-Oh [G/X]: Brink to the End - Chapter Fourteen
It seems I'm reduced to about one chapter a month. *sighs* oh well. This is LONG. At least for me, about 8 pages in MS Word is pretty long. Alot happens, and I'm hoping this puts alot more readers willing to give this complex story a chance.
Enjoy.

Chapter Fourteen
Nightmares
(Part Two of Two)
“And now my monster will attack your Charmer to finish you off!” Sartorious ordered. The mighty Arcana Force XXI revved up for the final blow.
“This isn’t possible!” Cedric yelled through Miya’s voice. “I can’t lose! I must have my revenge!” The wind began to stir up around him as Sartorious’ monster pounded the life out of Cedric’s remaining charmer monster.
Through the wind, Cedric could barely make out Shiekra’s face. “YOU!” he screamed. “You said I was free!”
Shiekra, her arms folded and glaring at Cedric with a keen smile, replied bluntly: “I say a lot of things. But unfortunately, I’m not done with you yet. And by you, I mean Miya.”
The Arcana Force XXI (3100/3100) came in for one final strike. With its giant firsts, it clobbered Miya and sent her flying backwards. A black light shot out of her as she did. The Aura seemed furious.
“You can’t get rid of me that easily, Shiekra!” Cedric yelled, having abandoned his host body. “Even I go back to the Brink of the End, I will take you with me! Dah!”
The aura charged at Shiekra. She stepped aside as Cedric zoomed past her. He came around again, but would find himself squashed between Shiekra’s two palms. “You insignificant insect,” she spat, squishing the intangible aura. “You don’t deserve to go to the Brink. I’m just gonna finish you off now.”
Sartorious had approached her now, his duel disk put safely away. He watched Shiekra summon her own black aura. “Fear my Twilight,” she said. “And be gone!” Her firm grip on Cedric’s shadowy remains and her ‘Twilight’ slipped and the stronger one devoured the other.
To Shiekra, it was much like torturing an ant with a magnifying glass. Right in the palm of her hand, not only did the Twilight she summoned tear Cedric to pieces, but it absorbed the remains only to become larger. Once finished, the Twilight returned to its mistress like a lonely dog.
Sartorious watched keenly. “What is that?” he asked.
Shiekra smirked. The Twilight was nothing more than a black ooze-like substance that dripped from her hands. It remains whole throughout, like a drippy slimy slug. Shiekra herself absorbed the Twilight back into her skin. “It’s called Twilight.”
Sartorious wasn’t about to let that settle as his answer. He pestered to know more.
“In a way,” Shiekra mused. “It’s like the so-called Light that you hand down to, well, like you just handed down to Miya over here.” Shiekra turned sharply to meet with the unconscious girl behind her. “I defeated Miya some time ago, showing her the Twilight and releasing what little Darkness truly laid in her soul.”
She bent down to caress Miya’s scarred face. “And now, not only does the Twilight stir within her, but the Dawn does as well.”
“The… Dawn?” Sartorious repeated. “Is that what the Society of Light lives off of? The power of Dawn?”
Shiekra nodded. “And like Twilight,” she continued, standing up and brushing dirt off her knees, “The Dawn seeks only to spread itself, like a disease.”
Sartorious laid his eyes on Miya again. “What happens to the Twilight now that I have bested Miya? Now that Dawn consumes her?”
Shiekra smiled. Her plans were coming together nicely.
“It’s still there, of course.” She laughed through her narrow eyes and thin face. “It still consumes her, now accompanied with the Dawn. Heh, heh, heh, and with it, she is now neither Light nor Dark.” Shiekra swung her arms and seemed to call out to Miya, showing the sleeping girl the face her palm.
Miya’s eyes burst open, devoid of all color. She slowly rose to her feat, as little emotion and free will as possible left within her. Miya Ark remained in bondage deep within her mind. But now, not only was she being encouraged by the Dark, but also by the Light.
Hanging like a chandelier above the two sides, Miya was weak and suggestive. The Light and Dark bickered in her ears. There was nothing she could do. She obeyed the Chaos that now surged within her.

Seto Kaiba was having a rather bad morning. Upon hearing from Chancellor Sheppard of the new White Dorm messing with his school, Kaiba grew tense and immediately departed for Duel Academy. He knew that the man behind the White Dorm, Sartorious, must be after the Chaos left on the islands by the Knights Templar.
Sure, he had no proof; and only a few days ago, Kross Forester himself informed Kaiba that the treasure he sought was gone. But if it wasn’t in Europe, which millions of dollars in research there had proved over the summer, then it must still be on the island.
“Settle down, Kaiba,” Ishizu Ishtar pestered, while Kaiba paced his aircraft. “Whoever this Sartorious is, he has no history in Medieval Europe.” She paused, then stressed, “And you know how ones history affects their present, Kaiba.”
Ishizu was little more than an archeologist from Egypt. She and her brother, Marik, had gone out of there way last year to inform Kaiba that history, not from Egypt, but from Medieval France, was about to repeat itself. What she had left out, until soon, she hoped, was that this time, the events would turn for the worse if the tide is not turned soon.
Ishizu shared many common traits with one commonly associated with Egypt. She had very long black hair, and her skin was much darker than that of Seto Kaiba. She was surprisingly tall, at least taller than her brother. She had a long face, with narrow eyes and a thin nose. She wore a tan robe, making her look distinctly from Egypt.
“My sister is right,” Marik Ishtar interjected. “You’re worrying over nothing.”
While Ishizu was quite calm and relaxed, Marik was an easily agitated young man. He was younger than Ishizu, perhaps explaining why she was so much taller than him. Contrast, again, to Ishizu, Marik had a more bushy hairstyle. His hair was a very faded brown and extended down his neck to just above his very light-purple jacket. Marik’s clothes were distinctly un-Egyptian, with a more modern trend then anything else.
Kaiba turned hotly toward the Ishtar siblings. He looked like he wanted to say something, probably a rude comment, but he eventually thought better and looked away again.
The plane was silent again for the next several minutes. Marik, bored, took a big sip from a red drink he had ordered and tried to get some sleep. It would be another hour or so before they landed at Duel Academy.
It was thundering outside. Within moments, rain was pelting down on Kaiba’s jet like mortar fire. The group expected to see the sun begin the poke through on the early morning above Japan, but it didn’t, being smothered by clouds.
“Is something troubling you, Kaiba?” Ishizu said suddenly. She seemed to have been waiting for her brother to fall asleep.
Kaiba had been mumbling to himself while looking out a window. “Must you know everything I’m thinking about?” he accused.
Ishizu smirked. “You’re wondering about that sphere you gave Mister Forester, aren’t you?”
Kaiba began to regret filling her in on the situation. “My intentions are none of your business,” He replied.
She ignored this comment. “Kaiba, what you want is unattainable. If you are dragging my brother and me here so we will help you, then you have misjudged my temper.”
“Can it,” Kaiba spat, taking a seat across from his guest. “I know as much as I need to know about those two lost countries.”
Ishizu looked surprised. “I’ve read your findings, Kaiba, on the internet. Your team discovered nothing out there. At least, nothing besides that rock you gave Kross.”
“Heh,” Kaiba laughed, turning his frustration into a smile that clearly made him look like he was hiding something. “Then you have been misinformed. He reached into his coat, prepared to have the last laugh. What Kaiba pulled out surprised Ishizu even more.
It was a diary.
Brown and barely holding together, Kaiba tossed the book onto the coffee table between himself and Ishizu. “The Diary of Princess Moira Oblivion,” Kaiba explained. “Armageddon may have produced the sphere, but that is nothing compared to the writings of this little girl.”
Ishizu trembled as she reached to pick up the object. “Kaiba,” she said, “Do you have any idea what you’re withholding here? This book could contain years of unknown European history! This… this is quite the find. Why didn’t your team document it?” She began to thumb through the pages. “To think,” she whispered, “This could only be the tip of a huge iceberg of undiscovered history!
Kaiba was proud of his find, but was not at all satisfied with it. The diary contained little more than a mere child’s inconveniences, thus, it was of little use to him. “Like I’d want Europeans getting in the way of Kaiba Corp’s business,” he explained. “Besides, I didn’t go looking for that book so some scholars can take it away from me.”
Ishizu was busy reading some of Moira’s writings. She began to read the diary with much intent. “Kaiba,” she said after several minutes. “You do realize that the ancestor of this girl must be on your island too, correct? Do you know who she is?”
Kaiba looked at Ishizu crossly. “No,” he answered. “But I bet I know who does.”
‘-/-[*^^^*]-/-‘
It seems that bad mornings had a trend today. Kross had woken up to a half risen sun. Little did he know of the events that occurred over the night. He had no idea of Miya’s internal suffering, of her conflict between Dawn and Twilight that twisted her soul and bewildered her mind.
To the surprise of Sartorious, who had retired to his dorm earlier that morning, the sun did make a return from its eternal eclipse. Shiekra explained to him that now that the Dawn and Twilight were neutral to each other, Miya’ natural power brought back the power of the sun.
Sartorious left Shiekra in the basement of the white dorm. He had but the regret of leaving Miya with her. Miya had remained distant from the world since Sartorious rid her of the spirit of Cedric. Her soul and conscious remained in bondage.
Kross, on the other hand, had a headache. The last night, a horrid nightmare had visited him. A voice told him he wasn’t strong enough to handle the oncoming threat, it told him he was weak.
He, being who he was, refused to listen to such nonsense. Voices in Kross’ head never had a strong welcome since last year. The risk and fear of manipulation by forces beyond his control was perhaps Kross’ only true fear.
“You’re weak,” a shadowy figure yelled from the depths of his dreams. “Even if you wanted to save her, you have no understanding of the darkness in your hands.”
Kross would reply: “You’re wrong! I can save Miya. I will.”
“Naďve fool,” replied the figure. Its silhouette gave it the outline of someone not much older than Kross, and yet, someone Kross could not have recognized. “Would you dare to prove to me that you have such power?”
“I don’t need to prove anything to you,” Kross replied.
The figure laughed. “Your fear of loss makes you weak, Krosth. Accept it, and you will grow stronger; perhaps strong enough to win your fair lady.” Miya’s image would flash across Kross’ dream space. But as his memories danced in front of them they began to fizzle with his memories of Mary. They, in turn, would change shape again and again, back and forth as the vile voice in Kross’ head laughed excessively.
“NO!”
At that moment, it would all stop and Kross would wake up, sweating. He would look at his clock on the bed stand beside him. It read only a fair amount after midnight and no matter how hard he tried, Kross would watch twelve thirty become seven fifty with his own eyes, unable to rest them again.
By ten o’clock, Kross was unable to keep his eyes open. The voice still echoed its words through his ears. Kross would murmur in his half-sleep, only to be nudged awake by the loud lectures of Professor Satyr.
“This tournament,” the professor explained, "was probably one of the biggest and most important ones thrown. Without its success, it’s quite easy to say that our fair school would not exist. The finalist in this tournament,” The professor continued, “Where Joseph Wheeler, Ishizu Ishtar, Marik Ishtar, a man by the name of Odion, Mai Valentine, Seto Kaiba-”
“Yugi Muto?” one of the students interrupted.
Satyr nodded his head, clearly aggravated. “Yes, Yugi Muto was there too.” He sighed again. “And lastly: Ryo Bakura.”
“Who?” everyone asked. The professor sighed, at a loss.
By now, however, Kross had finally drifted to sleep. He tried his best to avoid it, fearing the Voice.
“Welcome back,” The voice mocked.
Kross felt himself standing on a solid surface, despite that he seemed to be surrounded by a whole lot of nothing. “Who are you?!” he demanded.
The voice laughed loudly. “Are you ready to face me?” the voice asked. “Are you read to see if you truly are strong enough?”
Kross narrowed his eyes. “Fine. If it means you’ll stop haunting me, then… fine.”
The voice laughed again. “Good choice.” He crackled a foul laugh as fiery light illuminated the otherwise very midnight dream.
Kross found himself in a dimly lit chamber, probably under ground. Torches surrounded him and his opponent and stone walls held up even more torches. Symbols had been sketched onto the floor and the two openings behind Kross and his opponent led to only an infinite nothingness.
“Welcome to Egypt,” the voice said, turning around to face Kross. The keeper of the voice had long white hair that reached down to his neck. He wore a black vest that was clearly out of context for the surroundings Kross met him in. “are you ready to test your skills in the powers of Darkness?” he chuckled lightly.
“I recognize you,” Kross said sternly, finding his Wicked Duel Disk strapped to his arm. “But why you’re here, I don’t understand.”
The recognizable face came only from text books. Kross became only surer that he knew his opponent as the figure stepped into the circle of torches with him. It was none other than Ryo Bakura, the same Bakura who had been a finalist in the Battle City Tournament. But why would Kross’ head produced Bakura as the owner of the voice, he had no idea. He demanded answers.
“Darkness has lived in this world for centuries,” Bakura informed. “I believe I paid a visit to you to you before. The fact that my face resembles who you see here is merely your head playing tricks with you. Ironically…” Bakura trailed off. “I resembled your dear Princess the last time we met... 700 years ago.” His voice was informative, but very head strong as well, as if he enjoyed playing riddles on his opponents as he aimed to defeat them.
“What do you want?” Kross asked for probably the tenth time since he had started having this dream.
“I’m here to enrage you, Krosth, so prepare yourself…” Bakura swung his arm, summoning a Wicked Duel Disk of his own. “For this is one Nightmare you shall not soon forget!”
“Duel!” the pair of them shouted.
[4000/4000]
[Kross/Bakura]
“Allow me the honor to go first, oh Prince of Darkness,” Bakura ridiculed. He drew into his sixth card and began play. “I’ll summon my Archfiend Soldier (1900/1500) in attack mode!” he yelled.
A vile creature with pulsing purple skin and golden claws jumped onto the field. It bore a swamp-green cape and carried a long knife under it.
“Finally,” Bakura continued. “I’ll set one card facedown to surprise you with later.”
Kross was already enraged; he didn’t need some voice or being in his head to tell to make him so, either. “It’s my turn, and I’m playing B.E.S. Alert!” Kross’ card appeared beside him, depicting the picture of several B.E.S. ships preparing to take off from a docking ship.
“Now,” Kross explained. “I discard two cards, and can then special summon two B.E.S. monsters from my deck! Come forth: Big Core (2300/1100)!” Kross discarded his two cards and in a flash of light, his monsters appeared. It took him a while, but there was something different about the Big Core today.
Instead of a giant space ship twice the size of Kross himself, a pair of heavily armored knights stood in front of him. They both rode equally armored horses and held a long black lance.
“Unfortunately, these monsters cannot attack this turn,” Kross informed smartly. “But that’s fine, because I’m gonna-”
“-Watch them disappear inside by Bottomless Trap Hole!” Bakura interrupted. Kross was halfway through playing his next card when the floor cracked and fell apart underneath his two knights. Both of them attempted to hang onto the ledge of the trap, but failed, plummeting to their death.”
[B.E.S. Alert
Spell card
Discard any number of cards from your hand. For each card you discard, special summon one monster with “B.E.S.” in its name or is named “Big Core.” Place one counter on each of the monsters summoned this way. These monsters cannot attack the turn they are summoned. ]
“No way…” Kross said in awe. He’d just lost five cards in his first turn and Bakura only lost one. Kross had to rethink his move. He quietly put the B.E.S. Covered Core back into his hand and stared and what he had left. “I end my turn…” he said solemnly.
Bakura just laughed. “You couldn’t even play a monster!” He swiped a card off his duel disk. “You are hardly worthy of that dark powers you claim to controller. Now to punish you for your insolence! Archfiend Soldier, attack Kross directly!”
The wicked soldier, concealing its blade, charged forward and unleashed a powerful blow with the tip of its sword. Kross tried to remain the stoic he was, only wincing slightly.
[2100/4000]
Kross gathered himself again and asked gruffly, “You done yet?”
Bakura only chuckled again and concluded his turn with a facedown card to replace the one he used during Kross’ last turn. “Your turn again, Krosth. I prey thee will fair better then your last.”
Kross drew a card to start his turn and his eyes lit up. “Don’t worry about me. Worry about yourself! I play Galactic Vortex!
[Galactic Vortex
Quick-play Spell
Remove the top three cards on your deck from the game. Any monsters with “B.E.S.” in their name or are named “Big Core” are special summoned to your side of the field during your next standby phase.]
Kross picked up the three cards and his face lit up. “I drew into my B.E.S. Crystal Core and Hazard Core,” he informed. “So now I remove them from play along with the Black Vortex trap card I drew and on my next turn, the B.E.S. monsters come back!”
Bakura seemed unimpressed. “How nice of you to tell me what you’ll be doing next turn. What do you plan to do about this one, though?”
“This,” Kross replied with a bit of vigor. “I summon Gren Maju De Eiza (?/?)!”
A blood red portal appeared on the floor in front of Kross and, slowly, the red beast known as Gren emerged from it, wielding a long trident and standing tall on two legs with a pair of giant wings (2000/2000).
“Thanks to your trap card,” Kross reminded, “I have a full five cards removed from my deck right now. This gives my monster 2000 attack and defense points!” Gren roared, readying its trident and flapping its wings. “Gren Maju, destroy the Archfiend Soldier!”
Gren gave its wings one more flap before it took off, pounding its trident the chest of the Archfiend soldier and shattering it to pieces. Bakura braced himself for the hit, but only scowled back at Kross when the battle was over.
[2100/3900]
“Nice try,” he scoffed. “But it will take more than the Red Beast to defeat me!” Bakura started his turn with tenacity. “Watch and learn! I play Necromask!”
[Necromask
Trap card
Remove one ‘fiend-type’ monster from your graveyard to activate this card. Select up to 2 cards from your deck and remove them from play and increase your life points by 100 for each card removed. Then, add one “Necroface” from your deck to your hand. ]
[2100/4100]
“With this I remove two more fiend monsters from play, and in return, I get my Necroface monster card.” Bakura enlightened. “And now, it’s my turn, so it' time for some face time with my Necroface (1200/1800)!”
In a flash of light, a bluish mask-like creature appeared on the field. It had numerous tentacles sprouting out it, and a good portion of the face looked like it had imploded when a red bulging interior broke through, pulsing like the heart of a wild animal. The creatures had a solemn stare with only one eye, the other replaced by the bulging, red infection.
Kross wasn’t scared. Gren Maju was clearing stronger than the creature. However, he did wish he had had a card to play facedown and protect his monster. He had a bad feeling about this monster.
“Necroface!” Bakura shouted with a vile grin on his face. “Activate your special ability! Pulsing Stare!”
The Necroface blinked its one eye slowly, only to open it again. When it did, it was staring directly at Kross. Almost immediately, the Gren Maju de Eiza shrieked in pain. “What’s going on?” Kross demanded.
“When Necroface hits the field,” Bakura said, “It returns all cards that are removed from play back to their owner’s deck.”
Kross flinched. “What? But that means…”
“Yes, your Red Beast loses all of its attack points!”
Gren shrieked again and slowly regressed to its most primitive form, crawling on the ground like a spider (0/0).
“In the mean time,” Bakura continued. “Necroface gains power for every card returned. That’s eight! So my monster gets 800 extra attack points!”
[Necroface: 1200/1800 + 800/0 = 2000/1800]
“Now, Necroface, dispose of the Red Beast! Attack!”
The Necroface’s many tentacles sprung out and grabbed the Gren Maju. The red bulge protruding the monsters face shook violently and the Gren Maju de Eiza exploded.
[100/4100]
Kross, in pure shock and disbelief, fell to his knees, staring absent mindedly to the stone ceiling. Bakura only laughed.
“Giving up, Krosth? How pathetic.”
Kross wiped sweat off his face and tried to think clearly. He grabbed his hair and pulled tightly as if trying to wake up from this nightmare. It wasn’t working. He took a deep breath and then stood up again. He had only one card in his hand. What was he going to do?
Kross struggled to his feet and looked at the one card in his hand. Every time he dueled, Kross would draw this one card. Every time, however, he would refuse to play it. Now, however, it was Kross’ only way out.
“It’s my move,” Kross panted. “This duel is over.” He took the card from his hand and discarded it to his graveyard. “I activate the effect of the Armageddon; allowing me to discard the End of the World to summon: Prince of Darkness (1900/1600)!”
Kross discarded his card and stepped forward. After a brilliant flash of light, Kross was covered with black armor. Kross put his left foot forward, pointing a sharp lance at the Necroface. He tightened his grip on his weapon with a heavy pair of gauntlets. “This… is… over…”
Bakura squinted his eyes. “Think you’re strong enough to save her?” he spat. “It doesn’t look that way.”
That was because Kross still had the card he had drawn for his turn. Lifting his left arm, which still had his Wicked Duel Disk on it, he played his final card. “I play Darkness,” he said.
[Darkness
Spell card
Pay half your life points. Select one monster on the field. Increase the selected monsters ATK by 4000. The selected monster cannot attack directly this turn. During the End Phase of the turn you play this card, you lose the duel.]
A spell card appeared the field depicting only the color black. Purple static bounced off the card as it shook violently.
Bakura was taken back. Then, however, he did the math. “You have no idea what you’re doing! Even with that much power, you cannot defeat me this turn!” Bakura swung his arm backwards. “You lose, Krosth!”
Suddenly, however, the Necroface began to shake too. “What!?” Bakura yelped, turning his attention to his own monster. “What are you doing?”
“I told you,” Kross reminded, pointing his lance again at the Necroface. “This… is… Over.”
[Necroface: 2000/1800 + 4000/0 = 6000/1800]
[Prince of Darkness
**** 1900/1600 -DARK
Warrior/effect
This monster cannot be set. This monster can be special summoned from the hand or deck by discarding one “End of the World” from your hand to the graveyard. When this monster battles another monster (facedown or face-up) destroy the attacked monster without battle calculations. If the attacked monster’s ATK is higher than this monsters ATK, inflict the difference as battle damage to your opponents life points. This monster cannot attack your opponent’s life points directly. ]
“No!” Bakura shouted. “You’re not supposed to win!”
“It’s too late, Charles!” Kross shouted. He twirled his lance and made an advance on the over powered Necroface. He swung his lance upward, slicing the twisted face in half before it burst.
[6000-1900 = 4100]
[50/0000]
Bakura watched not his monster, but Kross. Bakura’s appearance melted away into a shadowy twilight and Kross’ true opponent revealed itself for a short amount of time. Black armor, a black beard, and a giant axe... As quickly as he appeared, Kross’ opponent vanished.
Kross was panting as he dropped his weapon. He looked up as his opponent too late to see who it was, but he knew. He knew from the start.
Slowly, Kross’ surroundings faded back to a black nothingness. Kross half-expected to wake up, but he didn’t. He just stood there, now returned to his regular school wear of a brown blazer, black shirt, and jeans. Kross remained silent.
He tried to focus as the cries of Miya Ark filled the darkened space. Se was screaming at the top of her lungs. Kross could here the Twilight and Dawn beckoning to here, telling to do things she would never do normally. Slowly, an image produced itself in front of Kross.
Miya hung above two glowing forces of light and shadow. She was restrained, unable to move as the two forces shrieked and yelled in her ears. She wasn’t moving, and she did not look in pain, but her loud cries still filled the area.
Kross couldn’t watch. This was partly his fault; he had not been there for Miya when she needed him the most. The scene faded away along with Miya’s screams.
Finally, Kross awoke back in Professor Satyr’s classroom. The room was empty and the lights were off. How long had he been there? He wondered. More importantly, what would he do now? He had to save Miya, but the only who could do that was…
…Jaden.

If it forbids the monster from attacking, how did Kross win? Prince of Darkness has to attack to get it's effect. Is this a mistake, or am I missing something?
Oh, right, the chapter. Including Bakura as an opponent in a dream...I thought about doing that myself, it just seemed hard to work in. No matter, it works for you and that's what matters. And it most certainly does work. This fic remains excellent, full of suspense and well written. Keep up the dark work.

Two things:
One: Typo, should say "Cannot attack directly this turn."
Two: He used the card on Necroface, not himself.
Notice Prince of Darkness' effect. It basically reverses the entire battle process so the loser wins and player with the stronger monster takes damage.
Otherwise, it would have only been 3900 damage, whereas the other way makes 4100 exactly.
BTW, you did catch who the opponent really was, right?

Nice Bakura joke...and then...I'm guessing that was the Spirit of the Millenium Ring makes a guest appearance. Interesting, so neutrality is Chaos....kind of makes the whole "There is no Black & White, just shades of grey" concept different. Still excellent work...keep it up. And it was dear old Dad right?

Yes, the image of Bakura as Kross' opponent was produced by none other than King Charles Norithan Armageddon, who, as you may have noticed, is absent from his last showing on Duel Academy in Nightmare Academy.

Think you could say more than that? Like what you liked about the chapter? Depending on what people say, I might put more effort into those certain parts.
Anyway, in a vain attempt to help people make sense of the characters and what's going on, I'm going to try and put up some character bios with each chapter. I'll start with Kross, but requests on certain characters, if you're interested, would be nice too.
I'll try to get that up in a little while, preferably after someone has replied to this post so I don't have to "Additional Comment" myself. *Shudders* I hate doing that.

Awesome work, I enjoy reading your writing, you write duels very well, better than I can do.
It also reads very fluidly, a problem I have is that duels are very duolouge heavy so its very difficult to make them work. Something you don't have a problem with at all. I commend you.

OK. I really liked the Charles-Kross duel, and I'm hoping that when the series is finished you give us some insight onto everything that goes on in this universe so I don't have to go back and re-read every chapter looking for seemingly insignificant details to deal with every major new plot twist.

Alright, here goes. I'll try and update this as the story goes along.
Quote:
Character Bios 01
Kross Forester
Age: 16 [NA] - 17 [BttE]
Hero Type: Mostly Byronic
Discription: Kross Forester is a dark fifteen to sixteen boy who makes an appearance as the main character for Yu-Gi-Oh [G/X] Nightmare Academy and Brink to the End. He has dark black hair that sharpens to a point down his neck. He is an Obelisk Blue Student in his second year in N.A. and enters his third year early in Brink to the End. His appeaance changes little from one story to the other, changing only in his new brown sweat shirt and scars and bruises over his face as discribed in chp 3 of BttE.
NA:
In Nightmare Academy, Kross is forlorn after the loss of his girlfriend. In his grief, he makes a deal with a mysterious voice in the air. This voice leads him to kill several people over the course of the first half of the story in the belief that it will revive his girlfriend. When the voice turns out to be Demise, the King of Armageddon (now known as "[General Leopold] Cedric"), he learns the error of his ways and repents by setting forth with Miya Ark and Chazz Princeton to defeat the vile King.
BttE:
Kross Forester returns to the GX world in chapter x3 of BttE, where he duels against Mai Valentine. Upon his victory, Kross meets up with Seto Kaiba, who is after the mysterious 'treasure' hidden on the island of Duel Academy. When he returns to Duel Academy, Kross shuns Miya in favor of inspecting his surroundings at Duel Academy and making amends to the school that he decimated. He regrettes this when Miya returns to see him under the control of Cedric. Later, Kross receives a package containing a GX Medal from Chazz Princeton. He accepts the challange, but retreats from the duel before it can finish. Afterwards, Kross begins to have nightmares dealing with his neglect of Miya. During one of these, he duels against "Ryo Bakura" in a seemingly out of place match. When Kross defeat him, it is revealed that Bakura was not his opponent at all, but someone much closer to him...[to be continued...]
Decks:
NA Chp 1, 5-6: XYZ Gamble Deck
NA Chp 3-4, 7-17: Gren RFG deck
NA Chp 18-31: B.E.S. deck
BttE Chp x3: B.E.S. Deck
BttE: Chp 7-8: Reveral of Keepsake Deck [Character card; With B.E.S.]
BttE: Chp 10-???: B.E.S. Vortex Deck
NOTE: Kross and Krosth are different people.

Next: Miya Ark [Unless a request is given]
What do you think? Missing anything? Want to know more? Any requests to clear up any current misunderstandings? Just ask!!

Additional Comment:
*Shudders* I hate "Additional Comments".
Anyway, just thought I'd give a heads up about the next chapter. I'll get a preview coming in a little bit (after my last final on friday!).
The chapter is coming along, but as you can assume, end of the year stuff, my promotion at my job, and other things have been keeping me busy. Tis summer is looking to be a fun one, so hopefully I'll get some serious work done on the Org. site too and revive the Org. of Evil from it's seemingly MIA status at the moment.
BTW, any requests on who's bio I should add to the end of the next chapter?
